A good ending for this story. He attended the funeral of one of the fallen officer, spent a day educating himself on police services, and then followed through with the game check even though he had been told it was no longer necessary. A good outcome from a bad situation.

Whatever y'all are doing with the Dallas police department over there, it sounds like you're doing it right.

Yep. Irvin was always annoyed when the bad was in the spotlight and the good barely mentioned. These young men are as self-absorbed as most people would be given the opportunity. The fact Cro acted like a fool then went through with educating himself and giving money in honor of his ignorance is a really good sign of his true character. Much more so than an emotional outburst when frustrated.

I really hated his Tweet

He has shown a lot of maturity and kept his word and deserves credit for that

One of if not the classiest moves I have seen in a while.

Everyone says dumb things. Not everyone goes out of their way to admit and show they wear wrong

Now he should go on record and say publicly what a fraud the black Lives matter is.

I applaud his efforts but some things can't be undone.......his Tweet promoted murdering cops and several cops have been murdered since then.....the wrong messages are still being sent.....it will take a lot more but his efforts have been positive

This is why the idea of him donating money makes it "all good" stupid. While honorable, doesn't change anything he said. Do you really believe he feels differently? He should have apologized and moved on. I don't see money thrown at any of the families of wrongfully killed citizens black or white.

I don't dispute his motives, he gave his word and he kept it......I just hope he realizes the dangerous message his Tweet was sending
