I can't look for a video at the moment, but Buck even pointed it out after commerical (tho he didn't call it a pick play, he said Donnell "acted a a pick," but was complimenting what Donnell did). On the replay, it looks like he straight up runs into the defender and pretty much tackles him. Was I seeing things? Or am I missing something?

I remember us trying this before and was called a penalty right away.

Seahawks/Patriots build their offenses around the pick plays but yet are never called. I don't get it.
I think you pretty much explained it yourself. Cowboys rarely run those plays, so it sticks out to the refs when they do. Some other teams run them every play, so the refs just don't call them cause they don't want to throw a flag every play. Stinks, but I think that's the way it happens.

I feel it's something the refs can call one game, then not blow the whistle the following week.

Unless I'm missing something(always a good chance) it's called inconsistently.

That will never be called Carr was on Cruz and didn't touch anyone. He just stopped his feet, maybe there might be a slight chance to get the call if he ran into a Giant player

I think you are exactly correct. I have not reviewed it but that is what I saw happen.

Donnell didn't even attempt to run a pass pattern at all. It was blatant offensive PI.

That being said, if Durant played his technique correctly, Cruz doesn't get open for the TD.

Inside 5 yards and the ball wasn't in the air. And it wasn't the guy covering Cruz that he hit anyways. All the block did was take himself out of the play.

What matters is whether you can say Odonell was legitimately making an attempt to run a route. It's blatantly clear he was not, that makes it an illegal play - 5 yards from the line, ball not in the air or the defender being matched on him or not are irrelevant in that context.

Tired of the whining about pick plays. If we did them and were successful, nobody would be talking about it. But since we can't, it becomes a point of contention.

tackling someone isn't a pick play.

none of this matters for the play in question
