Sorry if already posted somewhere

USA TODAY Sports

Victor Cruz is getting another shot after his run with the New York Giants ended this offseason.

The wide receiver agreed to a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears on Thursday, a person with knowledge of the deal told USA TODAY Sports' Tom Pelissero. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal had not been announced.

NFL Network was first to report the deal. Cruz appeared to confirm the news in an Instagram post.

Bad move.

Young team with no chance of success.. They need to develop young players and stay away from old vets.

Still haven't figured out the Glennon signing

Possible one year run in case Mitch needs a year to learn/adapt to the speed of the game.
Basically broke down to decent starting salary for one year if he sucked.

That, and they probably decided later, post signing, that they thought MT could be that "franchse QB"? While Glennon looks to be at best an decent starter.

Hasn't he lost all of his lateral quickness, which made him a dangerous receiver? I think he's done. It does seem like a weird signing for a rebuilding team comma and it's not like he provide some veteran leadership or maturity that will help younger receivers. Seems like he would be more of a fit for a team that's on the cusp but doesn't necessarily need him to be the man like Jacksonville.
