so romo is already calling the plays on the field? wow. that was a good off-season last year.

He's the one who wasn't cutting it loose downfield. He's the one who missed a wide open Terry Glenn deep opting instead to throw it behind Owens allowing it to be broken up. So, unless you KNOW (and I do mean - KNOW) that the play calls were not challenging Seattle deep, I don't see how you can't blame Romo for quite a bit. As long as he was holding the ball back there sometimes, it sure looked to me like they wanted something deep. he just wasn't cutting it loose.

He'll get better.

wait, I thought it was all Zimmer's fault for the D struggles?

I think its pretty clear that it was a joint effort by Zimmer and Mr Purcells

and challenging a team deep doesn't meant every, other throw, it's more like 4 or 5 deep throws in a single game

and you can't really attack Ds when you don't have time to allow them to get into their deep routes, the way our line had been playing the couple of weeks previous to the WC game probably didn't instill much confidence in the deep passing game's potential

unless you KNOW and i do mean KNOW we did have the plays called downfield, you're kinda silly to tell me *I* must KNOW!!!!

it's widely accepted that we failed as an offense to attack the glaring weekness. holmgren expressed delight and surprise we didn't take advantage of it. it's a coaches job to do this.

the parcells defense team is getting touchy these days.

and the defense team huddles for a collective play...

Yeah. I'm pretty sure I cited Terry Glenn being wide open behind the secondary. /checks post/ yep, I did. So I know they did it at least once, and Romo missed it. There's nothing touchy about it, you're reading too much into it. The video shows the player messed up, and missed the opportunities we did have. Somehow I just can't blame that on coaching.

:laugh2: And they say the children are our future.

Greatest Love Of All
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody's searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me

Chorus:
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadow
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

Chorus

And if by chance, that special place
That you've been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love

:laugh2:

We lost, plainn and simple, when we were 8-4 guys were like BP coach of the year, it could be worse we could be like the Detroit Lions, Our owner is the worse owner in the league, believe me i would rather have no other owner, our owner change the whole NFL, then again u guys probably would love to have the Bidwells as owners....

Stop crying, we will be back on top, did BP drop the snap to win the game, NO. Did JJ drop the Snap, No. we had almost a good year and it stings not to be still in the playoffs,no use crying over spilt millk, we will be back just don't when.

It's cool to let frustrations come out the first week but dang it F/A and Draft time, it's a whole new season. I'm a diehard fan, once the Cowboys are out the playoffs i don't even watch football no more, well i might glance here and there but it's not a must do.

Believe me their are gonna be30 other teams wishing they had did something different to win just like us, so it can't be all bad because only 1 team when it all said and done will be able to brag, that's it that's all

PEACE LOVE AND SUPER BOWL 2007-2008 SEASON :starspin :starspin
