Anybody else feels those winds of change that’ve blown in? There may be something special brewing in Dallas.

For 25 years, we’ve all been conditioned to expect mediocrity from the Cowboys because the organization accepted and enabled it. The 2021 coaching/player regime change has caused a seismic culture shift, seemingly overnight. This team is young and hungry and seem to all want the same thing — team success. I, for one, am unbelievably excited and feel we have a chance to capture lightning in a bottle.

I wasn’t old enough to appreciate the late 80s —> early 90s transformation, but I think/hope this has a similar feel. Anybody see the parallels?

Yes, players feared Jimmy. He was the coach who cut the guy for sleeping in the team meetings.

The youth movement and the rotations and contributions from everyone though is what reminds me of the 90's teams more though. And Prescott is a lot more like Aikman than Romo ever was.

This personnel move itself reminds me more of Belichick cutting Lawyer Milloy. Although Jaylon wasn't nearly as pedigree as Milloy.

Hoping it starts our dynasty, because it started the Pats dynasty. They even got blown out when Milloy returned with a chip on his shoulder, but they still won the decade.

jerry is probably crying somewhere. he probably will throw in a couple of extra millions for hurting the gimp's feelings.
