I would get the team together and watch the film collectively. Not by position group - the whole team one shot. They need to see that the performance was terrible across the board and let the leaders on the team see who was putting out and who was loafing. There were much worse things that went on in this game other than Zeke not running after the INT.

A really piss poor effort on so many fronts - no pun intended - basic blocking and tackling were just not good enough. Pursuit angles. Down and distance recognition. Gap responsibility. Proper route depth and cuts....etc... It was horrible. Everyone. No feel good tries here. This was a beat down across the board.

Now, if we lose to the Cards, making the same damned errors, I'll start to buy in with your take, Bellomy.

One bad game doesn't make a season, or, imo, need to illicit some of these threads. But these threads are cathartic and I enjoy (most) of the debates.

Romo was given Wednesdays off because of his back. They were trying not to over do it. He wanted to practice.

Tyron has had back issues as well, to the point he missed a lot of time this training camp.

Jaylon is working his way back from what many thought was a career-ending injury in college. He has just started playing full games again in over a year and a half and the team is likely trying to give his body time to adapt to this.

Lee has a history of injuries and of all people on the defense, they cannot afford to lose him so they are likely being cautious with him

Of all the things to worry about, and there are plenty, resting of important players with injury histories is down near the bottom of that list.

I understand fans want players punished with long and hard practices for losing, but the CBA does not allow those kinds of things any more.

You're making too much sense. Just stop it. People need to believe there is something really wrong with losing to a pretty good team. Someone needs to pay ******!
