I did not mean to make this thread about my sister. Just wanted to show how this disease can take anyone at any time.

All we hear in the news is about Swine flue, West Nile, Sars, and Aids ...... yet Cancer is truly the plague of our time.

Get your loved ones regular medical checkups.

I'm a pretty cynical guy by nature, but this statement here:

Well lets just say that made me a little more cynical.

Not the first time ground breaking stories like this come up, it will disappear like the rest, and we wont' hear of it again. Not because it will be thoroughly tested and found to not work, but because there is simply FAR more money to be had in cancer treatment, than in curing cancer. These people will be bought out along with their research, or simply shut down.

Hate to sound like a conspiracy theory guy, but that **** happens.

Cancer is what took my Mom, 8 years ago... you don't have to tell me that it's the enemy of us all...
