Im amazed Philly has 390 million in void year commitments but still sits where they do. Yet somehow we don't have enough cap space.

He spends on his own, not on outside free agents. This has been the Cowboys way since 2013, and it has not worked. Of course, what he was doing before that (freewheeling in free agency and ignoring the draft) was not working either.

I don't think many fans say that Jerry doesn't spend, just that he doesn't spend well.

Micah is costing them 24m against the cap this season

If they were to have singed him to a massive deals they likely would have structured it to even have less cap impact.

Since Jerry has no intention of spending in free agency, they might as well front load it into year one with a bunch of that 34m
