NFC East only...
3. New York Giants
Record: 1-7 (.554)
Top needs: OT, LB, CB
The skinny: If the Giants do indeed believe 2017 draft pick Davis Webb is Eli Manning's eventual replacement, the top need is offensive tackle. Their LB corps isn't very impactful and needs an alpha on the unit. Adding competition at CB would be prudent.
-
19. Washington Commanders
Record: 4-4 (.609)
Top needs: QB, S, DL
The skinny: Until or unless a new deal gets done with Kirk Cousins, QB is the top priority. I expect the Commanders will view safety as a need by the time the offseason arrives. Adding depth along the defensive line should be a consideration.
-
21. Dallas Cowboys
Record: 5-3 (.424)
Top needs: TE, DT, RB
The skinny: Jason Witten will turn 36 shortly after the draft and it's time to find the player who'll replace him. Adding a talented defensive tackle who can get upfield could be in play. Both Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden will be free agents, so adding a backup RB should be a possibility.
-
32. Philadelphia Eagles
Record: 8-1 (.413)
Top needs: LT, LB, CB
The skinny: The Eagles addressed their need at RB with the addition of Jay Ajayi, but the season-ending injury to Jason Peters will likely make the left tackle spot a high priority in the offseason. It would be surprising if they didn't look for help at linebacker, and the CB corps isn't quite where it needs to be.
