Updated list of franchise tags...

OLB Matthew Judon, BAL
S Justin Simmons, DEN
TE Hunter Henry, LAC
DE Yannick Ngakoue. JAX

Feel free to update this list.

Guess no real surprise on the list so far.

Curious on how long the Jags hold onto Ngakoue, as he wants out after last years extension talks went sour.

Wasn’t he traded to the broncos already?

He will be a tag and trade guy

Think it was ESPN where I read it but the Jags offered him 19 mil per last year, but he wanted 21+ mil.

Deal was where he would make 50mil the first two years.

He wants out of Jacksonville. I don’t blame him. I drive by there for work and it’s a crap hole lol

Both him and Judon are likely to be traded but they would rather get a 2nd then a 3rd round comp.

Ravens seem to always seem to find DL/edge players almost instantly to retool after FA losses. I mean, last year they had Suggs and Smith leave, but they didn't really miss a beat there. And they let CJ Mosley go to the Jets.
Then a few years back they lost Guy and Jernigan to FA/trade.

I think Coughlin screwed the pooch there. Cause last year he did want a long term deal. Now, not so much. And they traded Ramsey for a good return, depending on how the picks turn out.
Only been there a few times so I'll take your word. From what I've read sort of feel bad for fans there. Team has been bad since Coughlin was the coach decades ago. Hard to get constant fan support when it's a young franchise and not much success.

Its because their secondary is so good that it lets their pass rushers shine. Their secondary is two first team all pro corners and Earl Thomas.

They are built well and draft well. They just retool and rebuild quickly and easily.

Other teams take a few years. They don’t lol

I think Dak's agent and the Cowboys FO have agreed to not announce any deal until after the CBA vote count is known. Even then, all the news we may get from them is Dak is being tagged on Monday. I suspect we will get a bunch of other guys signed right after the CBA vote count is announced.

Agreed.

Correct me if I’m work, but the CBA will increase the cap and allow us to sign more players

The cap will increase and allow the agents representing current contracts to demand more.
Where the owners drop the ball in CBA negotiations is failing to put a cap on positional salary, there should be more incentive language based on performance.
They already do that every team writes up contracts with underlying incentive based clauses, but my point being if the owners actually pushed for a strict positional ceiling,
then the agents wouldn't be able to eat up all available resources during contract negotiations, which is exactly what they all do.
