I know we have a decent amount of injuries but I have not seen an article or thread with a full list of the injured players and their injuries/expected time to miss.

Can one of you guys provide any information you know so we can get a full picture on the situation?

MM is not going to release an injury report until he has to and even then it will have the most minimal of information on it.

This year will set a record for injuries. Expect a lot of fumbles early on too.

Injury reports come out mid week once the season starts. There will be one this week.

Only two big injuries that are out / likely out

Collins
Lewis

Woods should play

The rest from there we don’t really know

Practice reports on injured players will not come out until after Wednesday practice. Until then all media / fan speculation.

says the entire NFL, so its all and even playing field..the NFL was smart with the expanded PS and rules on PS and IR ..very smart it will offset a lot of this..

Yes, and that's what I mean. I think teams may need 4 qbs

Yes, however, the game day roster is not expanded by 2 players. The active roster may be 55, however, does that mean there are just 2 extra players to be named inactive?
I never seen anything definitive on the actual game is still at 45 or expanded to 47.

I quickly glanced at that list, saw what I thought was A. Kamara and immediately started to refresh the 'New Posts' hoping to see the addition of a new weapon. Not like he's needed but would help to calm those inner Madden cravings of a super team.:D Nevertheless, this 'episode' allowed for me to recall what was one H - E - DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS of a Labor Day Weekend!....obviously.:p

well it only works if its like the emergency thirds QB who cant ply unless the first two are inured and once in a cant be pulled..so im betting those 2 extra players also be like the emergency qb for the rest of the positions and teams will decide on the extras by which postion they are thin at..

Im guessing but if you cant bring them whats the point?

BTW all this expanded roster and pS seems like a trial run for the 17 game season format..isnt that next year? wasnt that approved? or was it tabled after Covid? i mean no PS games , expanded PS, and New IR rules, all seems like a good test for the 17 game season and expanded playoff WC game..

I found this, but it was from before the CBA was approved.
I believe the emergency QB went out several years ago. They expanded from 45 to 46, to allow for that extra player, but did not need to be a QB.
But it was proposed for the roster to go from 46 to 48.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...-at-all-the-season-roster-and-salary-changes/

However, the PS is now at 16 players.

Rosters
  • Teams can designate an additional player to return from injured reserve each year (three instead of two)
  • Two practice-squad players each week can be elevated to the team's active roster, and a team doesn't have to replace the player on the practice squad
  • Active game-day rosters increased from 46 to 48 players
  • Practice squads expanded from 10 to 12 players in 2020-2021, then to 14 players starting in 2022 (including between two and four players with unlimited accrued seasons per team)

No, that is not how it works.

The game day roster has expanded from 46 to 48.

The primarily stipulation they must have at least 8 OL active.
