What possible criticism could anyone have for Tyron Smith??? Yes, he's had back issues. No one can control that. He's played hurt and has done it very damned well. He's a 100% team guy and is the ultimate professional. Anyone that has anything bad to say about him is an absolute moron.

I hope Bailey doesn't have to kick a single FG all season, not because I don't have faith in him but because I'm hoping those possessions are TDs. I don't know how many times I've seen the offense march down the field only to stall and kick a FG.
I hate that. But I am thankful to have Bailey around because he is traditionally an extremely reliable guy. With that said, I'm a superstitious guy so that's probably enough talking about our kicker before we jinx the guy.

You answered your own question. Back issues. And they're not insignificant. There's a decent chance he'll never be the same again. That makes him unreliable. With your logic, Sean Lee should be beyond reproach.

No. Lee has been hurt much more often and for longer periods of time than Tyron, resulting in many more games missed. Tyron has missed only a handful of games and has played well despite his back issues. I see a huge difference between the two. Both are great players, but Lee isn't in Tyron's league.
