We can literarly face any of those teams in the divisional round because the bye is not wrapped up yet neither is the 3 seed. I am going to assume Atlanta wins next week and they're the other bye team. Then I have Green Bay beating Detroit so that would make Seattle the 3 seed, so then we would know we could NOT face Seattle in the divisional round because we face the lowest seed without a bye and Seattle would be the highest. So our opponent could be any of Detroit, NY Giants, Green Bay, Washington. I'm counting out Tampa Bay from the playoffs because they can only get in with a Washington tie and some other stuff nearly impossible.

I would be perfectly fine with the Commanders winning and Detroit knocking the Packers out of the playoffs.

An unlikely scenario for sure, but possible.

I think GB ends up winning their division and we get them in the divisional round

This. Giants will rest players next week against the Commanders. They have nothing to play for. Commanders win and get 6th seed. Loser of GB/Lions misses playoffs.

EDIT: A Cowboys loss tomorrow goes a long way in keeping the Commanders out of the playoffs.

A loss tomorrow kills the Skins which I support, but ideally would like to see the Pack take an early vacation.

Depending on how hard we play tomorrow, you could argue Lions have the toughest road to the playoffs.

-@Packers

And all that with Stafford having a bad finger. Won't be surrpised if Washington steals the 6 seed, if they can win their game.

since MNF isn't a must-win for Detroit. I can see them resting some key players to make sure they're healthy for Week17.

Really neither team has any incentive to play key starters for too long.

Wonder if both teams will approach it like it was a PreSeason game 2 w/ starters playing a few snaps, but letting backups go

Odds are the Giants will be heading to GB and Seattle will host the Lions or Commanders

The Lions win tomorrow and they are in as at least a wild card, so they have a lot to play for.

I disagree. A Detroit win tomorrow night is great insurance for a wild card spot in case Green Bay beats them the following week.

If Detroit wins tomorrow they clinch a playoff birth, if they lose and lose to Green Bay and Washington wins next week they can miss the playoffs. So that everything to play for tomorrow.

Yeah the Commanders are pretty much done if the Cowboys lose tomorrow. I doubt the Lions beat the Packers.

They are literarly done if Cowboys lose tomorrow, eliminated.

Edit: I was wrong Commanders could get in if Green Bay lost in Week 17 and Commanders wins.
