The Pats left a massive vacuum and also suddenly Pittsburg is aging with no viable QB play.

Not at all.
Packers are playing well on both sides of the ball and the expectation is that Love can move the offense (especially with Adams and MVS back, plus the run game) vs the Chiefs porous D.
