There are a few playoff odds sites out there. Here is one: http://playoffstatus.com/nfl/nfcstandings.html

Right now the Skins have a 33% chance of not making the playoffs and we are at 59% followed by the Giants at 54% chance of not making the playoffs. The Skins have a 15% chance of making a WC and a 50% chance of winning the division.

We have a 38% of winning the division and a 3% chance of winning the 6th seed.

The Skins control their destiny and although I haven't read it I thought we did, too. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe that that is accurate.

Yes. If we both win the next two games, the winner of the DAL vs WAS game in Week 17 will determine who makes it.

If Dallas loses next week, we need the Commanders to lose as well. I think Philly beating NY would play into it as well.

Really, we need to just go out there and beat the Saints next week.

I believe we are in the same boat as the Commanders except they may have a few more favorable scenerios than we do with a better Conf. record. It's pretty simple for the Cowboys, win the next two and they win the NFC East regardless of what the Gnats and Commanders do.

Just take care of the Saints, Do that and we are playing for the division on the last day of the season.

So then the 10-6 Cowboys beat out a 10-6 Giants team?

I haven't even looked into conference records or anything.

Most likely going to need to win out. Chicago and Minn have the tie breaker on us. So we are most likely going to need to win the division.

Yup, win and we're in. If NYG lose one of their next two, we can "afford" a loss to New Orleans and still play for the division in Washington, no matter what the Commanders do in Philly.

Yes, the Cowboys control their destiny. If they win their two remaining games, they would be 10-6 while the Commanders then could not possibly be any better than 9-7. So the Cowboys would win the division by sheer virtue of having a better win-loss record than the Commanders.

In such a scenario, it's possible that the Cowboys and Giants would both be 10-6. However, the Cowboys would still hold the tiebreaker due to having a better division record (4-2) than the Giants (3-3.)

Yes, a 10-6 Dallas team would win the division record tiebreaker over NYG.

Yes, because in such a scenario, the Cowboys would have a 4-2 record within the division. The Giants would have only a 3-3 record within the division.

Cowboys win next 2 games, we take the division.
We win the Tie breaker over giants by better division record since we split head to head.

Pretty simple really, we win the last 2 and take the division or we sit home in Jan.

Virtually no chance of us getting a wildcard, so its division title or bust.

Yes Dallas would have the better division record

At 10-6 we beat Giants on tie breakers.

Lose to the Saints and we can still win division if we beat the Skins even if the Skins beat Philadelphia. But the Giants would have to lose one of their last two games.

Two games left, and three NFC East teams control their own destiny here. If the Commanders win out, they win the NFC East. If they don't, they don't make the playoffs unless Chicago and Minn both lose out. Same with Dallas.

NYG on the other hand, can win out and make the playoffs as a wild card, but can only win the division is Dallas and Washington each lose one more game.

Next week should be interesting. If the Giants lose to Baltimore, they cannot win the division because either Dallas or Washington must finish at least 9-7 and both own the tie-breakers over the Giants.

One game at a time. I hope that is the approach.

That is what Garrett has been preaching to the team all season long.

Not true, if we lose next week, we need the Giants to lose as well. So basically we don't care what the Commanders do next week.

Let's just beat NO and if we lose just hope the Ravens beat the Giants later in the afternoon, if that happens it's win and in vs the Commanders in week 17 no matter what they do vs the Eagles.
