Curtis Samuel

He's moving up the boards. Late first, early second.Excels at RB and WR . I would love to have him on this team.
He is one of those guys who it's really hard to get a handle on value wise. He would add some serious speed to the offense

He reminds me of CJ procise. He did things for the hawks before going down with an injury.

Reminds me more of Randall Cobb when he was coming out of Kentucky. Whether or not he can transition as well as Cobb did I don't know, but he's definitely good with the ball in his hands. There's no denying that

He needs more work then Cobb did to be an NFL outside WR. I think he has the ability to be that, but it will take a couple of years developing as a WR.

I think Eric Metcalf when I think of Samuel.

Probably a match-up buster/maybe returner early that's going to have to refine his routes and catching to play very long at his primary position in the slot. Routes and catching aren't that bad now, and he may be able to play outside more than I'm giving him credit for.

I'd take him in the 3rd. I have a feeling someone will fall in love with his versatility and speed before then.

I really would love to have this player and his big play talents and speed on this team! One of the true game speed players I cant help but lust for along with Ross, Westbrook and A Jax

Id be talking to Zeke about this guy and if he says .. "maaaann u need to get this dude!" Then I would have him on my short list for sure. Im thinking tyrek hill type who could make the offense too much for anyone to handle.

Problem is I think most of would hate to have to use our first on him but fat chance hes there at our second.

If he happened to be our first then Id assume we feel were gonna get our moneys worth

Just as Budda Baker is Tyrann Mathieu without the baggage, Curtis Samuel is Percy Harvin without the baggage. The thing is, if you draft Samuel, you better have a real specific role carved out for him. He can't run a full route tree, and he's not good in pass protection if you use him out of the backfield. If you use him on kick returns, pass receiving from the backfield and out of the slot, jet sweeps and the occasional run out of the backfield, he can provide potential game breaking options.

On this team, with Cole Beasley in the slot, it cuts off a good amount from where he can contribute. All in all, he's an intriguing player that in the right system with a creative play designer, he's a real weapon.

Really like him a lot. I don't see Dallas picking him up though.

He's Dunbar on steroids. Or like Plankton said: Percy Harvin minus the migraines and madness.

Samuel has a lot to learn but would light up kick returns right away. He'd be hell on jet sweeps and smoke screens.

However, he's a luxury item that the team could take if they had their defense squared away. They don't.

If he fell or something and the value was just too good, then I could see the team pulling the trigger on him but he won't slide, IMO. So I don't see the team taking him.

I like the player a lot though.

I like him but not sure I want him with either of our first two picks.

He seems to be in that no mans land for us. Dont see him being value at 28 and likely wont last till 60. Could sneak into the first, but I dont see us rating him high enough to take him. Especially considering they are likely to have a lean towards defense

Id sprint to the podium at 60. Would be good value there. Im not stressing about spending a pick in the the top 3 rounds on offense as long as there is value. We will still be able to put some quality players on the defensive side of the ball.

Although I would much prefer the first to be a D player

Procise is definitely heavier, but don't you see him used in the same fashion?
Procise is built more like a tradional HB, and his experience at WR while at ND makes him a guy you can do alot of things with. However I think Procise will be used much more as a traditional HB then Samuel would. Samuel's frame and speed translate to WR better then Procise. I just dont know if Procise can hold up as a full time HB. I think Procise projects more as a David Johnson type (not saying as good) whereas I see more of an Eric Metcalf ( going wayyyyy back) in Samuel

Metcalf was one of the prettiest runners in NFL history, IMO. That guy was so smooth. He just looked fast and graceful when he ran.

For people who didn't get to see him:
