Cut Barron and Sign a Kicker

I really hate to have to give up on Buehler this early but right now it's just not worth risking Wins for this guy.

I've always felt Kickers are more important than people who want to tell kicker jokes all the time would make you believe.

I just don't have confidence in him to go out and be consistent and at this time it's not what we need.

If you want to start over again next year with him im fine with that but I want no part of his growing pains this season.

He missed a kick you don't give up because of 1 kick. If we were to get Stover and he misses a kick do we then dump him and get another one? Please

No you dont cut a guy like Stover because he has a history of getting the job done in the NFL. Buehler is a project

That 1 kick contributed bigtime in our loss.

And getting another kicker does not ensure it will not happen again. I'm not saying keep him hell or high water but I don't think you run away from him because of this 1 kick.

Totally agree. It's too much of a risk... Cut Barron, sign Stover and cut Anderson. Sign the best O-Lineman available.

I was wondering last week;

Will Buehler's penchant for touchbacks in the preseason make the coverage team struggle when they actually have to cover a kick?

I'm not saying that's what happened, it's too early to tell, but our coverage teams got next to no practice doing their job in the preseason. Our coaches might have been well served to tell Buehler to take some off it in preseason so they could at least get a few reps.

Ummm, its been a couple of kicks in as many games and both were critical to the outcome of the game.
