Cut Bledsoe

Ban for speaking his mind? That is actually a realistic idea and I agree with him. I do not believe we'll ever win a Super Bowl with Bledsoe. I'm willing to put money on it, would you be willing to put money on us winning the Super bowl with him at the helm?....that's right...<silence>... Sorry brother, the truth hurts. Accept criticism a little better would ya??

Why cut him? The Skins are getting a 6th rounder for Ramsey. Maybe we could get a 3rd or 4th for Bledsoe from a team like the Raiders or the Browns since we don't have a 4th this year. I hate giving away players, even ones I'm not especially fond of.

So if this team signs TO and loads up for a superbowl run you would rather take your chances with an UNPROVEN rookie with no NFL experience? Or perhaps we should start Tony Romo or Mr. NFL Europe? Better yet Vinnie T and Quincy Carter are both looking for a job as well?

sooner or later you've got to take your chances on the unproven and when your arguments are "what better is out there?" then it's time to go find better, not settle for above average.

which is what drew is and that ain't good enough. we know that, and just because there's nothing BETTER stat wise out there doesn't mean we shouldn't give a rookie a chance does it?

no.

sooner or later you gotta give them that shot. it's long since past that time for a lot of us whether you like us feeling that way or not.

For your sake you better hope grammar is not a part of the Wonderlic test you propose.

For Example: "i think we should give everyone who post"
no worries, the wonderlic is multiple choice.lol

I have major doubts we can be a serious contender with Bledsoe. But the bottomline is that he'll be here as long as Bill is around. Nothing anyone says or does will change that.

No I didn't forget Seattle, in fact that's another game we had one if we would have had a kicker or a running game

No, more like that is a game we would have had a better chance to win had Brokeback Bledsoe not thrown that stupid INT. to hand Seattle the game.:laugh2:

Brokeback Bledsoe? Real classy dude....at least he stepped to the plate and tried to win the game considering the rest of the team let him down. Missed field goals, blown leads.....all Drew's fault right! :banghead:

who cares. the point would be to committ to a youth movement not "best available has been" that we're on.

let's go find/groom our own players again vs. arguing over which hasbeen still has something.

There's an idea. We're not going to win anything this year anyway, so we might as well build for the future.

The Brokeback referenece was due to your Man love of Bledsoe. Take off the freakin' blinders.

If we fail to make the playoffs this season then I will be in full agreement with you....fair enough?

I'm all for building for the future, maybe thats what bill and jerry are being committed too this time around.. I guess I just didnt expect it.

I'm not romantically entangled with Drew Bledsoe, nor do I envision provactive scenarios with him at his ranch in Montana. I admire his as a great NFL QB and leader on the gridiron....this is all.

No I didn't forget Seattle, in fact that's another game we had one if we would have had a kicker or a running game. Drew was under pressure, yet we still led with 2 minutes left in the game. The only real bad game Drew had last year was in Washington, but then again the rest of the team didn't do too much either in that game did they?

You may think I refuse to look at Drew's bad games, but I do believe me. Drew is a statue and I've never claimed he wasn't, that is his biggest downfall. But I don't know too many QB's, mobile or not, that can have an MVP type calibur performances with hideous blocking and no running game like this team had last year. Do you?

I know some who can get their team to the playoffs without everything going right. Does the name Tom Brady ring a bell with you? He's the reason that Bledsoe is here now. It seems that he can do more with less, unlike Bledsoe.

I have to agree with that, unfortunately.:(

Bledsoe did not have a MVP calibur year.

Dallas does need to find a young QB. Maybe they have one in either Romo or Henson and if they don't, then they have to search for one. Bledsoe is not a long term solution. Cutting him is a bit drastic, but the sentiment of getting a young nucleus is a good one.

I apologize to you. I was out of line with that comment. I still don't agree with you, but I was wrong for taking it to that level.

before Culpepper, Brees, McCown signed with other teams, heck i might even add Kitna to the mix, i wouldve supported the idea of cutting Bledsoe, im not sold on Bledsoe taking us to a Superbowl either, but i dont see any better options out there at this point. and i wouldnt start a rookie either.

It's ok just don't let it happen again! :D

I agree. I like Bledsoe and expect him to be the QB this year and a decent chance the following year but he is not a longterm solution for QB.
