Cut Cowboys On Other Rosters, S.Williams. Blue, Bridges, etc

Keegan, Woods, Milton and Blue....I think were mistakes being cut. I hate cutting upside. Would have held on to Woods over Hooker...who's done nothing this off season. Thought Keegan really showed off some versatility that last game @ C. Milton and Blue....both brought big gain potential...and spark...and a higher ceiling. Really questionable cuts IMO.
I dont share your opinion (which is clearly ok :) ) - personally i think blue was ridiculously overrated simply bc of his speed....Milton had some stuff going on that we didnt know about (clearly) or he would have been picked up..

Milton for sure , Blue not so sure . DeMercado brought in has a history with Klayton Adams from Arizona has that speed Blue has but the upside is he’s actually played in NFL regular season games . Blue & Milton both need NFL playing time to progress.
I think its the pass protection for DeMercado. Something Blue struggled with.

Fair point.....I just think we are gonna miss that threat out of the backfield that could score in the passing game. Maybe Davis is that guy now????? Time will tell....And yes...there are a couple guys out there right now I wouldn't mind bringing in for a look. Micheal Carter...Zamir White

NOT True, Happens all the time I get cut come back make practice squads all around the league It's a business it's not personal You might have paid well enough in your mind you didn't play well enough to get Trade opportunities Nobody picked you up off waivers and now you're still sitting out there and I'm telling you have less opportunities than you think so somehow he's got big heads in them bmoc maybe that's what the Cowboys are talking about Maine priority are mixed up they probably know that he reacted poorly when hearing about his demotion in his mind it's a demotion he didn't win the backup job directly so he got angry maybe he needs to grow up and realize this is the best place for him since you already know the offense the coaching staff everybody likes him yes Milton should come back..

To be fair making the dolphins 53 man and a normal teams PS are pretty close to the same thing.

The only one I really worry about out us regretting is Keegan, but even him I can’t decide if it’s truly an issue we let him walk or if I’m just being a fan too much.
I thought it was pretty much a wash among Keegan, Leverett and Cornelius. Makes sense we'd keep the draft pick in that case, especially since he can play tackle and we have more unknowns there than inside, and Leverett is on the practice squad.

Actually they would come back. It has happened before.
I think Malik Davis, and Wheat did it a few times.

not that i’m for or against milton but i personally would feel the coaches did me dirty after playing well and would have a hard time returning. we are i think one of maybe 5 teams to only keep 2 QBs. some are keeping 4

I think they basically just said, "if we release both Leverett and Keegan, we'll be able to get at least one of them back."

I'm surprised they played that game with Leverett though, unless they are comfortable with Bass as a backup C.

I believe he is on the practice squad that's not what this post is about this is the practice squad, This is about players who made it to other teams after being cut from here.
This might be the greatest post you’ve ever made

Props where props are due

Yes he played well. But we do not know all the other stuff to take into account.
Was he attentive in meetings. How well he grasped the offense and any changes.
Maybe he was late to meetings.

Josh Butler, Jay Toia, Julius Wood are guys I thought DAL would try to bring back to the PS.

again, I hope this means we're seeing a culture change in Dallas. We'll see how it works out, right now it's just on paper and in my head

I think they are. Either Leverett or Keegan was going to be kept on the PS in case Bass fails or there is a long-term injury and Bass has to take over as a starter. The only reason I wanted to keep Keegan over Cornelius is because I felt he was more likely to be claimed since we claimed Keegan last year and he played well. Cornelius played well, too, though, so maybe we would have lost him if we cut him ... and he's at least a contender for one of the tackle spots. He might be as shaky as the rest there, but did look pretty good at guard.
