Can't blame them for cutting both Rush and Grier. Probably feel they can get one of them back after placing players on IR. Frankly, I'd still rather see them retain DiNucci.

No need as they have three guys going on IR. Someone will be cut if they claim a player.

Who's the third? I've got Washington and Tyron.

I'm assuming we need at least three for McQuaide, Maher and the backup QB. And possibly three if we carry Goodwin. Might be interesting if we carry any of those players on the practice squad instead, since you can put vets on it AND bring them up for three games. I mean, who's going to poach Cooper Rush?

I believe it is at 16, so quite a few will make it.

Let's be real... as much as I am content with Rush for our 2nd QB, truth is, the Giants cut him before he got back here.... the Giants.

Similar... Panthers haven't exactly had the most stable QB room of-late... but they cut Grier, of course.

Not inclined to think there's reason for concern.

The new CBA pushed it from 10 to 14 and since Covid, it's now at 16.

Looks possible that they are working on a trade. It has been reported that they have 3 players needing to go to IR but they cut 4 likely to be brought back in Maher, Rush/Grier, McQuaide, and Goodwin. Now, maybe Goodwin is gone but if they want to bring him back, that means they held onto someone because they are likely in trade talks with him. We will see.

True. I don't think either is in danger of being picked up. I would actually think there was a greater risk with DiNucci because he hasn't already been tried by other teams, but I think he's safe, too. I also don't think we're all that concerned if one of them does get picked up. We'll just re-sign the other since neither did enough in the preseason to make anyone think we have to have him as the backup.

Ridgeway is probably on the Bohanna track. Not good enough this year, but his development is hopeful. Since he was drafted, the team may just not have wanted to risk that some other team that was interested in drafting him would want to grab him for a look.

Fairly certain he'll be chopped and on the PS. Would agree that he's developmental and might have a better shot next year with Hill being a FA and perhaps some DE churn.

There are 55 players on the roster.
2 more to go. Ridgeway should be one of them. Maybe on of the OL, Alarcon or Ball or Waletzko.
Or one of the LB's, Jefferson, Harper, Gifford.
DL, Bashem then bring him back possibly.

I think one should be Wright, but they won't do that.

Oh and Houston, but Dak likes him so there is that.
