Cut for Football Begins

I'd go with a Clif Builder's Bar for breakfast, followed by a snack of cottage cheese and fruit, followed by lunch with a salad with some chicken or turkey on it, followed by a snack of cashews/pistachios, and then dinner with a meat like fish or chicken and a vegetable side.

You need a lot more protein. I'd also take a multivitamin and drink tons of water.

This is a good start in the right direction. I don't know whats in the "Clif Builder's bar" so I can't comment on that.

Minus Football, and engage eating insane amounts of food on Sundays and Mondays while watching Football and gaining weight is inevitable.

I see alot of people have mentioned that im not getting enough protein, should I add in a protein shake everyday?

Definitely do the protein shake. I use the EAS chocolate whey protein shake and it's loaded with protein and not a lot of the calories and high carb levels that a bar might have. I just mix it with water and while it doesn't taste amazing, it's definitely not bad.

I guess you could mix it with milk, but I figured I'd just leave out the fat/carb/calories that milk would add and just do it with water.

Protein intake should be at least 1 gram per pound to preserve muscle mass. You're cutting. You might want to do 1.5 grams / pound. You need to find out how many calories you are intaking per day and how many calories you are burning. 5 pounds a week is unhealthy IMO. You're losing a lot of tissue.
this at the very least.

if you take football/working out/and proper diet as seriously as you take your cowboys fandom you could be better than you even think you are/can be.

I always make smoothies/buy smoothies when Im bulking, but I load it with a gabillion fruits and it comes to atleast 1k calories, I guess if I leave out the fruits itll only be around 300 and therefor fine for a cut.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow that diet is awful. Great for crash dieting I guess, but half the weight you lost was muscle. Not even enough protein to shake a stick at.
