maybe we should change the title of the thread to 5 since most cowboys fans live in the central time zone

Or just add the timezone in the title. I'm sure everyone can add or subtract a couple of hours.

6 PM Eastern is the dealine, although I imagine most teams will have there's in before the absolute deadline.

The official deadline is 4 p.m. Eastern (3 p.m. Central; 2 p.m. Mountain; 1 p.m. Pacific).

If the Cowboys don't announce their cuts until 5 p.m. Central, that's their choice. But they must make the cuts by 3 p.m. Central. They'll probably be leaked before the announcement anyway.

Why? He hasn't shown anything other than he's got dumb luck on his side.

Wait, he did show that he cannot tackle last night.

No, he can't. That was a fluke play where he shouldn't have touched the ball in the first place.

If dumb luck wins games, I'm all for it.
He showed that he couldn't tackle but made up for it by SCORING later to help us WIN the game.

Who cares if it was a "Fluke play"? He SCORED. You 2nd guess MISTAKES. If he SCORED, it wasn't a MISTAKE.

That's not to say KEEP HIM but damn, give the guy a break. You act like he pulled a Mike Vick & killed your dog.

The Cowboys keep the best players, he just isn't one of them.

What does that have to do with whether or not he can return kicks?

I wonder if it occurs to you that the character who uttered that quote was, in fact, the stupid one.

He wasn't lined up as the returner -- Reid was. Holley was a blocker who scooped up the bouncing ball and ran with it while everyone else was standing around. That doesn't mean he'd be successful as a returner. Heck, he didn't even return punts in college.
