We've got a LOT of young players in the line up and as situational players, so it's going to take time.

When you've got Petitti, Polite, Crayton, Pierce, Spears, Ware, Canty, Killer Davis, etc getting significant playing time, I think fans need to be patient.

This team should be a LOT better in November, especially the defense.

As an avid Polite supporter like Hos, I too noticed he looked a little confused out there and has some work to do.
But I am certainly willing to give him a fair shake at ironing out those wrinkles. Give him some time.

what did POLITE add?

he gave up 2 sacks and one caused a fumble that he recovered, but hurt our drive.

lets just get rid of him and use dan cambell or somebody else there

1 game!! Dallas is not going to cut him off of 1 game. I will agree he played poorly yesterday but I don't see Bill cutting him at this stage

I mean wasn't Julius rather unspectacular at picking up the blitz correctly last year? Polite will get it down he laid out some pretty good blocks also in this game.

Its 1 game, but for as much flack as Barnes catches on this board he never had 1 game in his career as bad as Polite's 1 game.

It was Polites first regular season game. I'm sure Barnes had his problems in his first time on offense with TB. The guy has a lot of talent and needs to be treated like a rookie.

Funny how Petitti had 3 penalties and a few missed assignments but he gets a free pass.

If Petitti should be given a pass (and he should) then so should Polite.

One of those Petitti penalties was Rivera's - Looked like Petitti jumped because Rivera did first.

Polite will be fine...
Already a MUCH better player then Barnes ever dreamed about being...
But, he like many others.... heck everyone can still improve...

This whole TEAM can get much better and I expect they will...
