But on a side note, the Chargers got robbed. That was a fumble and the Bolts should of won. what a bunch of wachos those refs are lol. I hope those guys dont call a Dallas Game .

The officials made two serious errors that had a direct bearing on the game. I'd be furious if I'd been the victim of that mess. I hope that Hochuli learns from his performance tonight. Whoever gets his crew next week is going to be extra attentive.

Ed Hockaloogie is probably very upset by that call. Not by the fact that it screwed SD out of a win but that he embarrased himself on TV. I hate that smug sob. I can't say the Chargers helped themselves out with their play, my God I know Merriman is a good LB but when he is out do they all forget what defense means? Cromartie was good last year but if I had the chance to get him now I might have to pass.

That extra TD helps me a ton though, as Cutler is my fantasy QB. And with opponent having McNabb and T.O. still to play, I needed every point I could get. I was cheering that 2-point conversion decision as well, by the way.

Believe me, I'm glad we don't have Norv as well. Wade has his down sides, and Norv took his team further last year, but there's just something about Norv-coached teams that leaves a lot to be desired.

he doesnt coach the defense, nor did he want Ted Cottrell as his DC. AJ Smith forced him to hire Cottrell, who was a long time friend of his.

The Chargers got robbed plain and simple on 2 calls (malfunctioning replay equipment? WTH?) leading to 15 Denver points. The game should have never been that close, and I feel pretty bad for Norv on this one. I pray the Cowboys won't be on the wrong side of calls like that this season.

On the bright side for the Chargers, I think I may finally be sold on Philip Rivers. I thought SD made a mistake letting Brees go a couple years back, but I think Rivers has grown into his own and has surpassed Brees as a better QB. Actually, Rivers and Cutler appear to be the best 2 young rising stars at the QB position outside of Tony Romo.

The thing that plagues Norv wherever he goes is his teams' inabilities to stay healthy. Oakland had a record number of guys on IR. His Skins' teams had trouble staying healthy every year. And now the Chargers are nicked up not only pretty bad, but at key positions(i.e. LT, RB, Merriman, etc). When Marty was there, the Bolts stayed relatively healthy every year.

Refs its pathetic how the NFL doesnt hold them accountable for their actions. Refs ruin the games reputation with their horrible calls a lot worse than players misbehaving off the field...

Seems the officiating has been pretty poor throughout the league so far. But then again, I say that every year, so I guess this is on par.

Can the officials be fined or suspended? I mean, Hockuli (according to Turner) pretty much admitted that he blew te call.

That game pissed me off SO bad! I don't really like either team, well actually I HATE the Broncos for personal reasons and couldn't stand to watch them win it in the end. The Chargers got completely robbed.
