So, since some want Ware gone. Who's going to be the pass-rushers next year? We know Hatch and Spencer are gone.

I think Ware will be back, but we will use our 1st round pick on a DL. Way to early for me to start thinking draft and who the best DL will be around the 16/17 pick.

Spence might come back for a one year deal, just a guess on my part.

And I don't think Ware is going to get cut, he'll restructure his deal.

Horrible idea. Go look at overthecap.com and see the damage that would cause in future years.

Ware said he would likely take a pay cut, if so, he remains a cowboy

He clarified later that he would restructure and NOT take a pay cut.

I saw that after I entered that post

...and, thanx for the thread that basically said "if you wanna leave, then leave" to the fair weather fans...I was thinking the same exact thing....it's OK to be upset by losing, but if you think for one second about cheering for another team, then you aren't a fan of this team...

Ware did an outstanding job yesterday. All of you fans that want him gone better rethink what the consequences are when we don't have him anymore. Hopefully he will come back and have a healthy 2014.

I would like Ware to stay, get healthy and perform the way we have grown accustomed to seeing, but is that realistic? Perhaps the full-time 4-3 scheme has been a big contributor to his injuries and he is not going to magically get younger.

"Outstanding" is not the word I would choose to describe Ware's contribution to last night's loss. I think he held his own against Peters on running downs but was almost totally neutralized on passing downs.

i don't think most want him gone. but the reality is he will cost 16 mil next year. it's not about ware or his ability to still play. he is not worth 16 million dollars and a restructure pushes it down the road. the only viable soultion is a massive pay cut around 6 mil or cut him. you can't have him on the roster making 16 million and rebuild the dline

for years ware has lined up over the ot. the only real difference is he was standing up now. the scheme is not the issue. injuries are. and the question is do those injuries keep coming? and can you afford any player not playing at an elite level counting 16 mil against your cap
