but it’s wrong in retrospect.

I think that decision made Witten choose to retire.

Neither one had much left. Yes, Dak misses Witten's presence on the field, but his production was steadily diminishing and the Cowboys need to find out who the next guy is.

Yea it was right at the time. So right the FO had to correct a mistake and give up a #1 for a WR. The same way it was right to cut Murray which the FO addressed a year later by drafting Zeke at #4. i love all this rightness. I wonder who will be next?

Seriously, how have you not noticed the fact that no one is signing Dez? I mean, you in a coma?

For this team and what we had it was wrong, but it is clear that Dez has demons/whatever the hell you want to call it, his focus clearly wasn't all on football.
