Some of the final pieces of the pattern are about to be woven into the narrative of the 2020 NFL draft class. On Monday, the poking, prodding and non-stop onslaught of folk acting way-too-familiar

I love watching the scouting combine and I like listening to Kiper. I know he is like fingernails on a chalkboard to some though. Back in the 80's I remember buying his draft guide. One time I called to order his new guide and told the women taking my order how much I like listening to Kiper on ESPN and found him very informative. She said, "I'll tell him when he gets home. That's my husband."

Today and tomorrow are the first two days of hospital pre-examinations and medical examinations for quarterbacks. Will Tuagovailoa be attending the Combine? I would be really interesting knowing first hand how his medical evaluation went.

The more coveted athletes should insist on getting paid for their appearance at the combine or not show up. They still have a pro day to show teams what they can do. The scouting combine is not that big of a deal for these upper-tier athletes.

Wonder who fails a drug test and how the new CBA will effect him and what teams do. :lmao:
If they are smart they will be clean. Next year however. Not sure how they are going to work this. Raise the limits allowed in there system and if you fail you get fined. Or just quit testing for it. Seems like the players maybe willing to bend on other things if they are allowed to smoke weed. They need to think about there future and medical insurance and retirement. Not all the players care about smoking and aren’t going to make as much money as the elite. Wondering if they raise the rookie minimums. Guess the players executives aren’t even agreeing on presenting this model of the CBA yet.

It's amazing how influential a team that didn't even exist until 1960 has been in the history and evolution of the NFL.
That is why Clint Murchison should be in the Hall of Fame. He took the chance to hire a TV guy as GM. He hired a young DC that had invented the 4-3 D as HC and gave him an extension after 4 losing seasons. He allowed a baby photographer that was good at using computer filing systems to innovate player personnel. He also, built a Stadium first to use suite and PSL licensing. Unlike Jerry Jones, he had the business savvy to let experts be experts at the jobs he hired them to do. The Cowboys success was not challenge until Belichick and Kraft. Most consecutive playoffs, winning seasons, most NFC Championship games, most Super Bow appearances, and did it with 1 GM, 1 Head Coach, and 1 VP of Player Personnel.
