We are all grown men and women in here, this is a message forum and we are all Cowboys fans. This is an important draft especially picking #4, therefore it's gonna be mixed emotions. But remember one thing I think all of us wants what's best for the Cowboys.

It's draft time and we all have our opinions and our own personal agendas on who we should draft but far to many post are been bashed unnecessarily. For example I want us to take Zeke, but lo and behold here comes the critics bashing my choice. Just say Zeke is good but we should draft this person because I think he can help us more or I think will be a bust. But to flat out bash someone opinion is disrespectful.

I'm not going to bash someone because they want Bosa, Ramsey, or Tounsil and not Zeke. I will defend my pick and try to convince you to change over but in no way will I undermind you or think less of you for your opinion.

If the draft was that easy we would all agree on 1 player but just like in the war room, I'm betting Jerry, Stephen and Garrett all have the player they want in mind.

In my mind, Jerry wants the flashy pick, Stephan looking long term and Garrett is in win now mode and probably wants offense. Who knows but I'm sure they are having the same conversations on who to draft just like us.

All and all lets be respectful of others opinion. I might not like who Dallas pick but whoever we grab I will support that player 100 and always keep an eye on the player I wanted just to compare...

Have fun guys...... :star::star::star::star::star:

I can say taking a DE is absurd or a QB. Who is our long term solution at RB- McFadden is a FA next year and Morris is on 2 year contract both RB's to me are journeymen now. I think we should lock up RB right now for the next 7-10 years.

I was joking, but really don't think we should draft an RB that high. Alfred Morris will have more yards than Zeke if we don't draft him. We can get an RB in the mid rounds this year or next and be fine. You can say taking a DE is absurd or a QB, but you would be wrong.

Thx but it gets frustrating. I definitely understand not many want Zeke, some do and most don't. I just have that Randy Moss feeling about Zeke. If we pass on him I just know the Eagles or Giants will get him and Zeke would be a tough battle to handle twice a year. Moss killed us every chance he got and he let it be known, he was hurt we didn't draft him and he kept a chip on his shoulder every time he played us.

Do it my way, take Zeke...and all is well in the Cowboys Universe.....:D.....

This is a tough draft for us to figure out, then comes the Rams / Titans trade, making it even more convoluted.
The NFL draft is harder to figure out than a formula on a Quantum Physics Theory problem. In which I find easier than figuring out that rock, paper, scissors crap. LOL.

Take Zeke, it's like Occam's Razor...just take Zeke....

The only opinion here that counts is mine and my opinion isn't an option. It's fact. So, stop blowing stupidity into the forum air!

I am not sure you can call the 2 X PB, 4,700 yards in 4 seasons, 4.4 YPC, 27 year old Morris a journeymen.

He aint Zeke but he aint chicken liver, the Skins OL was a hot mess last year, I think he will suprise some people here in Boys town.

Does anyone have an official count of the number of threads started on CZ that have an Elliott slant?

I happen to agree in reference to Zeke. However, IF they view a QB or two as franchise QB's and he falls to No. 4...take him. BUT you better be right. Same applies for Ramsey or Bosa...take them IF your scouts tell you they will be difference makers. BUT you better be right. I will state again, in Dallas, I think Zeke will be special. Most backs drafted in the top 5 don't go to a team with a Pro Bowl QB, Pro Bowl WR, Pro Bowl TE, and three Pro Bowl Olinemen. His chances of success are much better than say Trent Richardson or CJ Spiller going to the teams they went to when they were picked high in the draft.

I have stated on here that I believe the narrative about RB's is changing and will completely change. College is already going back to the one back system...at least the successful teams in FBS football are doing so (Alabama, Ohio St., Florida St., LSU, Georgia, Stanford...). The League will soon be following suit. Charles Davis made the same remarks last night on Path to the Draft and it was based on conversations I heard among League guys at The Combine and the Owners Meeting in Boca. Scouts are telling the GM''s and Coaches and Saban, Myers, Fisher are also talking to NFL Coaches and GM's. Next years draft will be interesting to see how many backs get taken in Round 1.

We'll see how things shake out and I'll eventually be good with whomever Dallas picks. It will just stink if they are wrong about the player but that applies to all prospects every draft. At least to me...

There is no better players the Cowboys could draft than Tunsil or Elliott. When someone challenges that I will defend myself. I always keep it civil unless I am insulted or have my very well thought out analysis trashed. Them I return the favor .

Since the RB position will be a problem in 2017, let's fix it now rather than fixing problems we have now... what? Morris and DMC got this and if they don't, then it'll get adressed not before. Fixing things now is on the front burner like, pass rush or secondary or 2WR or B/U QB.
