I used to do these all the time before my daughter's basketball took over my life. The ones where I was the Cowboys GM were really fun. I just couldn't get into the ones where I had another team. I discovered as much as I love the draft I only truly care about what the Cowboys do (can do, will do, should do) on Draft Day.

Lets do this the weekend of the 17th. That gives us a week to get this rolling. I will post a GM list in a separate thread for those who have already expressed a desire to participate. We will draw teams if we get enough to sign up. If not, we will look at doubling up on teams for those who wish to play. If we are lucky, we can get this thing filled up by tomorrow and post teams and specifics by Monday latest. Earlier if we fill out a complete GM roster.

I am anticipating 4 rounds. 5 minutes for the 1st, 3 minutes for the 2nd and 2 minutes for each additional round. Trades permited but would have to be approved before final.

Not enough time. You need at least 5 minutes to field a trade offer and get info to Admin Staff to coordinate trades.

it is a waste of time to go through an admin to OK a deal...this is just a mock draft

I dont think there would be a ton of trades. Were only doing 4 rounds so no one wants to trade back and pick up picks they wont use. If its 5 minutes a lot of people would just leave and come back when its their time to pick anyway

If it were 60 seconds or so in a chat and would be more lively
