The Cowboys defense has allowed quarterbacks to complete 68-of-84 passes (an absurd 80.9 percent) for 815 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions in the last two games

The defense hopes this isn’t their identity. A defense line that was praised for its relentless spirit through the first three games has gone missing. Yes, Peyton Manning is difficult to sack. But the Cowboys had no sacks Sunday and didn’t bother the Denver quarterback as much as head coach Jason Garrett intimated. That is one sack in the last two games if you’re keeping count

Based on what? Hope? BTW a talentless Raider team shut down the mighty Chargers last night.

New coaching. New system. The players saying they felt more comfortable. Btw I mentioned the Oakland - Chargers game in a thread myself.

The past two weeks, Romo has thrown for over 750 yards, 7 TD's and 1 Int.
The Dallas Defense has given up 1,028 yds and over 81 points.

You do the math.

The only other QB in the league playing at Romo's level this season is the guy we played last night and this team still can't win. Just doesn't seem right or fair.

How many of those yards are to RBs out of the backfield? Seems like they can get 6-7 easy yards every play just throwing it to a RB. Why can't someone make an adjustment?

Great question. It's almost like we have allowed the RB's in the flats in the middle of the field to just be open, and try to take away the deep stuff. Do that to a Sproles, or McCoy type and we will be toast.

I seriously think this might be the most awful defense I've witnessed as a lifetime Cowboy fan.

I know. It is a shame we drafted for years based on the needs of a modern 3-4 and decided to throw all of that away with the stupid Tampa Two. Just another in a long line of awsome moves by JJ.

Nothing new. Kiffin did the same thing at USC, but I was told that wouldn't happen here because of all the talent.

For those 2 games? No. But a predictor of things to come? Yes. That is not a recipe for success over an entire NFL season. Because you can't expect your offense to put up those kinds of numbers every week to make up for our poor defense.

This is probably the worst defense I have ever seen from the Cowboys in my watching career.
