Where am I getting 32?
Not sure, but he turns 31 in minicamp. If you compare him to other elite WRs in recent years:

Andre Johnson
112 catches 1600 yards at 31
109 catches 1400 yards at 32
85 catches 936 yards at 33

Larry Fitzgerald
Averaged 91 catches for 1000 yards from 31-35

Marvin Harrison
89 catches for 1224 yards average over 31-34 seasons

Randy Moss
69 catches 1008 yards 11 TDs age 31 (no Brady)
83 catches 1264 13 TDs age 32

Isaac Bruce
Averaged 67 catches, 964 yards age 31-34 seasons

Terrell Owens
71 catches, 1100 yards average from 31-35

Every receiver as good as Hopkins has had continued excellence for many years beyond 30 with the exception of Julio due to constant injury issues. Conversely, Deandre has had 1 season in 10 where he missed more than 1 game due to injury. Moss had more, Harrison had more, Even Owens had more by age 30 season. Dude is a tank.

Hopkins skill set ages well too. If he doesnt have a bunch of lower leg injuries over the next few years, I could see him being a 1000 yard guy at 35

Hopkins had 60 catchs and 700 yards in 9 games last year. If he didnt get suspended, he would still be talked about as one of the top WR's in the game. Definitely not way passed him prime. He is still in it
not sure . Its risky asking him 2 be that guy, especially after he gets here and learns a new system. Rather bring TY back. He's familiar with what we will ask him 2 be. He will be much cheaper as well.

TY is garbage. He is practically retired. Guys like TY are the reason we are hoping for OBJ and Hopkins.

Trade Dak for Hopkins?

I'm in!

Yes, yes, I know: no trade clause.

But I can dream.

Right? Where do people get this crapp from?

If Hop can be had for a 2/4, your rush to sign on before someone offers more. Hop is a complete stud.

OBJ is a circus sideshow. He has never been close to Hop's level.

Why is DeAndre Hopkins paired with Odell Beckham Jr. in a multiple choice question? Seriously. Watch how both receivers run the route tree. Watch how well they catch the ball in any situation—with separation, in traffic, across the middle, on the sideline, etc. Sure. Beckham is a good receiver.

Hopkins. Final answer. It’s not close. Cost and injury potential for each receiver are valid discussion points but in terms of who is the better receiver? C’mon people…

And then add in the fact that OBJ can't stay on the field.

Who's faster Hops, OBJ or Cooks? That's the one I'm trading for

Depending on the price, but Hopkins all day every day. Not even a question. Odell who?

Hopkins would improve us more.

Beckham would cost less.

Not sure we could even fit the Hopkins deal under the cap. He would have to restructure and that might affect our ability to re-sign Lamb.

I'm not particularly crazy about either option, but at least OBJ wouldn't cost draft picks.

Seriously, stop looking for warm bodies in graveyards and overpaying for the privilege.

Especially w/ a very deep WR draft coming up.
