he is not a very precise route runner, he relies heavily on his speed. I also noticed that his body language tends to be different when he is not the first option on a pass play. Its almost like he tip toes on routes when he is not expecting the ball.

Hopefully Newman and Jenkins continue not giving up the big play.

Yup... Aikman and Buck showed a replay showcasing that very thing...

He gives up on routes, and looks raw on his route running...

He's either hurt or quitting on his routes, maybe both. :lmao2:

Thanks for the input. Did it look like we were taking away everything deep throughout the game?

Really they said it too, I never really watched him that closely until today when I could watch him even when the play wasnt focused on him. He is still fun to watch b/c he is a flat out blazer...running just comes easy to the guy.

Newman and Jenkins both seem to have a combination of speed, quickness, and strength to irritate him though. Hes slippery off of contact, but if you get a good bump on him hes done for the play.

Jackson is overrated, I said that already.
jackson is a great athlete and having a great year on an otherwise unimpressive offense.

Agreed.

If he can add some strength without losing his speed, he's going to be even more dangerous... It'll be interesting watching him play in our division.

That said... hopefully he plays a similar game next week :)

You mean the "Explosive" Desean Jackson? :lmao2:

The guy that ran his stats up and exploded against teams with losing records, or 8-8 finishers at best?

for the most part. He got behind newman one time, but he didnt do much after that. He seems to prefer newman over jenkins. Newman relies on speed to recover and usually his speed allows that, but jenkins bothers him. Man handles him a bit.

I wonder if strained a groin based on the way they were stretching him out.

i think he's a very good and dangerous player but he's about a year away from demanding a new contract and becoming a TO diva
