Just wanted to mention that Wade (or whoever) is doing a nice job keeping the D line fresh. Siavii, Bowen and Hatcher are all getting in there and helping spell the starters -- all of whom are playing well partly (I think) because they're getting some rest-up time. (Helps too when the offense isn't going 3-and-out much.)

Also, on an unrelated note, Bobby Carpenter isn't playing half bad. Still a disappointment as a 1st round pick, but he's contributing and isn't a liability out there.

The depth of this Cowboy unit was done by none other than Jerry Jones. He and Wade Phillips have brought this group of support players to the front. This is probably the best example in recent history, of backup and package players playing prominent roles. They are making plays also...and that is a strong indicator of overall team strength. That also may be a reason why this team hasn't up and given up in any of it's December's black 'n blue month games. They are contributing, to those of the starters and noticeably.

I agree on Carpenter...as his past three years can't be given back, but he is functional in his role, and maybe, even getting good at it at a similar point in his career that Bradie James started to shine as well.

I still don't like Carpenter. I like Bowen a lot, I think he's better than Spears at this point.
