D. Murray

Can get that old Razorback style running game going with Felix and Murray.

Yep. Which makes me think, everybody was worried about Run DMC running to upright but he was pretty good last year.

I think all 3 of our backs are talented. I really hope we keep Choice though. I like his field vision and despite what the stats about his elusiveness may say, he produces when he gets 15+ more touches. With Felix and Murray we have to worry about the injury bug quite a bit.

Anyone know why Murray had 83 speed in NCAA 11? I couldn't figure that out, he looks very fast.

Still worried about that YPC average. He seems like a guy that has some good speed, but kind of the opposite of someone like Dez where it is all on the tail end and not the front end. The guy has a very short stride. Very unusual for a guy that can put up the 40 time he did.

I think he looks like the fastest player on the field in most games in the top end and front end area. And then in small spaces he seems to just burst out. There will be 3 people around him and he will just accelerate through.

Everyone says he looks like he runs so tall. He has a slight bend, I think his thin body type might add to it. Hes obviously not as squat at these rbs that you think "run low" . For example he could never run low like ray rice or MJD.

I think he looks exciting, and Garrett thinks he can use his athleticism. If he can catch passes as well as people say, we should be dangerous with him and Felix in the same sets. Felix, Murray, Witten, Austin, and Dez. Wet dream

I don't think I missed the mark guys.

Look at this.

Watch his stutter step and then the plant fake. Even look at how he lowers his shoulder to break tackles and when he turns to the outside watch the acceleration.

I think his running style, and especially speed in small space is eerily similar to Jamaal Charles.

Both drafted in the third round also, if youre into that type of stuff..

We'd all be very happy if Murray turned out to be as good as Westbrook.

To me, Westbrook looks shorter and runs with more body lean than Murray.

I absolutely loved this pick and the value at where we got him. Murray has first round talent Hos. FIRST ROUND TALENT. He has a serious nose for the end zone. He has phenomenal body control and seems to get that extra yard (or more) around the end zone for the score when it looks like he will be stopped short. The only wild card on him is that he becomes more vulnerable to injuries the way he plays the game.

I would not be surprised to see Murray as the starting RB by years end if he stays healthy

I think the Terelle Davis comparison is more apt in terms of body type and running style. I can understand the general comparison of Westbrook/Murray being proficient pass catchers though.

I don't think so.

I think with an improved line Felix is going to turn it on. He was on such a ridiculous pace with Jason at the helm, it's hard to believe a rookie is going to come in and beat him out in one year.

If Murray's pass blocking can translate to the NFL game, I have no doubt he'd be in on a lot of third downs. His hands are phenomenal for a back. He could lay a block, hit the flat, take one cut and be 15 yards downfield. The safety valve aspect is always welcome, I'm sure Romo and him will be doing some work.

Sure no one care but he's also rated a 69overall in Madden 12. Tied for 6th best rookie RB.

Westbrook has incredible balance too.

What link did you get that from? I'd like to check out other ratings.
