Let me start by saying we sign Atogwe.

Round 1

Nick Fairley ---- Auburn-------

I think he slips on draft day. Jerry loves the flashy pick and can't believe he's here at this point. It comes at a position of need aswell. With Spears gone I think for sure we go Dline in round 1. Oline streak continues.

Round 2

Marcus Cannon - RT ------TCU------

Freak.Of.Nature. 360 pounds and moves like a guy half that size. Day one RT or Guard.

Round 3

Deunta Williams - S ----UNC----

Best safety in the draft. Steal here. Self explanatory.

Round 4
Randall Cobb - WR -----Kentucky-----

Perfect slot receiver, do it all guy. He was actually in contention for the Heisman this year, a LONNNNNNNNNGSHOOOT, but still. Our Brad Smith/DeSean Jackson. 4.4 speed.

Round 5

Bruce Miller - OLB -------UCF------
Crazy Production. Benched 225 35 times and had one of the fastest 3 cone drills. Can't believe I never heard of him before the combine.

Round 6

James Carpenter - G/T ----------Alabama------

Good pick up here. Like what I saw from him at the SB.

Round 7.

Mark LeGree --------- App State-------

BALLHAWK.

Probably not, but I had to include him. :laugh1:

i hear ya man , love what i saw . guy on rotoword was pimpin him as a possible 3rd rounder. damn

7. Appalachian State FS Mark LeGree

No player in this draft class can touch LeGree's 22 career interceptions, but as an FCS small-schooler there were plenty of questions about his athleticism. LeGree didn't burn up the track with his 4.56 forty, but it was the second fastest among all safeties in Indianapolis. Also weighing in at a solid 5'11 1/2" and 210 pounds, LeGree is on the radar as a possible third-round pick.

More LeGree measurables: 9'8" broad jump, 4.09 short shuttle, 6.90 three cone

Warms my heart :D

Really one of the best mocks I have seen. If Fairley slips I hope we don't hurt anyone running up to the podium to pass in the card. Only problem I have with this is no corners. Signing Eric Wright would help this.

DL really?
We still have Oleshanky, Ratliff, Brent, and we're obviously, likely bringing back Hatcher and Bowen. DL doesn't seem obvious to me.
Even though no OL is worthy of a top 10 pick this year, the OL is far more porous and thin than the DL at this point and we'll have to weigh the choice of getting a top DL to pad a decent unit or trade down and fix a primary problem along the OL......not to mention the swiss cheese secondary unit
I think DL is a possibility, but far from the obvious pick, even if we can't trade out of 9 and HAVE to pick at 9......IMO

If this happens I'll probably jump up so high that I'll put a hole in my ceiling.

I'd love to have Fairley in Dallas.

That'd be two years in a row that we got a steal in the first round. :)

Probably my favourite draft I've seen so far

Favourite mock draft I've seen here. Real nice job. I think we can get Fairley or Dareus at 9. Either of them I am doing back flips.

Cannon and Williams in those slots are making me do even more back flips.

I could only wish this is how our first 4 picks would work out.

I like this mock. Would like it even better if it was Moffitt in the 3rd and either Deunta Williams or Mark LeGree (not sure you need to draft two FS) in the 4th.

Thanks buddy !

I'm pretty satisfied with our corners. I think Jenkins is going to play much better under Ryan, Scandrick just needs to learn to turn around, and Newman has a few years. I would consider Prince if he fell though.

I just think that if we can get a big, nasty guy who plays on the DL, I think that's what we need to do (assuming we will use him correctly).

Look at the dominant defenses down through the years, and you see dominant front 7 players. They do have at least competent play in the secondary, of course, but it is in the trenches where offenses are overpowered.

Peterson is great, and I'd love for him to be a Cowboy... but I'd like Nick Fairley more.

Nice Mock!

I may take a CB instead of a WR in the 3rd or 4th, but this mock is solid.

Have to say I don't see Fairley dropping to 9th, but it's fun anyway and yuo never know.

Thanks.

Like I said, I'm pretty satisfied with our corners, and I have extreme man love for Randall Cobb, plus Deunta in the third is good.
