Dak Prescott had the most impressive season of any rookie quarterback in modern NFL history, and fans should be very excited about his future as the starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys. The offseason also brings with it a chance for NFL players to improve and develop their craft, an especially important opportunity for young players. While discussing areas of improvement for Dak seemed virtually impossible during the season without it devolving into a QB controversy debate, hopefully we can now begin having those conversations.

During his rookie season, Dak showed impressive growth in his ability to diagnose defenses and progress through his reads. He also showed off his exciting athletic ability as a runner in Run/Pass Option plays, as well as elusiveness and mobility when scrambling. A great example of Dak's mobility came in Week 2 versus WAS:

Kellen Moore was saying in a recent interview that Dak will get the majority of snaps now and they will adjust the offensive to what Dak does best with his skill set.

Kellen believes Dak will continue to develop having a full offseason being the guy and by getting the full work load.

I think the kid will continue to get better because he has the passion to put in the work to do so!

Dak has the smarts that players like RG3 never had, in that he's not risking injury to get that extra yard. For that reason I expect Dak to have a long and prosperous career as a Dallas Cowboy. He has the talent around him to not have to do it by himself and he's humble enough to give credit to his teammates that help him get it done. In the ultimate team sport, the Cowboys are becoming the ultimate teamwork oriented team that no doubt now has the perfect fit QB with Dak.
