Good grief. The LAST thing I want is defending Narcissist and DNA Kid #1. However, it is illogical to assume any general manager and chief operating office, both of whom oversee their franchise's salary cap, to dismiss a notable dedication OF the salary cap when conversing about acquiring or retaining players. Below are Prescott's annual non-voidable salary cap hits per

- 2022 - 08.96%
- 2023 - 21.79%
- 2024 - 22.65%
Admittedly, the league's salary cap will not stagnant over the next couple of years. It will increase, just as it has in the past. However, any expected increase will not magically decrease Prescott's cap hit anywhere close to the degree where Jerry Jones or Stephen Jones will NOT talk about his salary--especially not over any perceived exceptions for acts of goodwill.
You keep living in the world of make believe. Others may opt to anticipate something as consequential as a notable cap hit affecting player acquisition and retention WILL come up in the Jones' public conversations.
