Lol. Bingo!I thought there was a bias against Cowboys? I guess it depends on the narrative a person wants to support.

That's what's hilarious. This list validated their claims Dak wasn't good....now the list isn't right lol. It’s funny because someone specific on here was going on about how his peers didn’t even vote for him last season. Now I bet you he’s going to have a whole different thing to say.
A hugely flawed agent-driven system that needs to be fixed.
The concept of "next man up", regardless of how good they are, is beyond silly.
The agents are winning on that front.
That's not true at all. Goff and Wentz didn't get bigger deals than Wilson. Fake news. That's not how it works for QB's. The next in line gets a bigger deal. This isn't new news.
That wouldn't be true if I said that. So, it would in no way be doing the "front door thing"...it would instead be lying.Agent-driven? Do agents hold guns to the front office members' heads to make them offer a contract higher than the previous guy's?
Just do the front door thing and say you don't like players getting big deals.
That wouldn't be true if I said that. So, it would in no way be doing the "front door thing"...it would instead be lying.
I'm fine with players getting big contracts if they align with their relative standing in the league.
As I said, it's the blindly paying a player the most in the league just because he is next man up that is what I think is flawed.
It makes no sense to me.
As for the owners....assuming they use their cap space, it's no extra money out of their pockets to pay one player a huge deal.
It just means other players get paid less.
Next man up artificially inflates contracts (especially in the QB market) and is not based on merit.
Did Dalton make the list?
I heard they are same dude
I hear everything you are saying.QB is the most important position on the field. If he's good, you pay yours or you can take a whirl in the draft or pay up for someone else who didn't get paid by their team, which will be market rate anyway, especially if you think he's better. That's how it is. Again, if you're a front office watching your cap dollars, don't pay him and risk what I just stated. THAT is what teams are paying for and it's not artificial or "blindly paying." It's the going rate of risk aversion. And if it were blindly paying then your issue would be with front offices and not agents, right? But that's not what you stated.
And "align with their relative standing in the league" is well, relative. Zeke's worth to us is much more than it would be to say, KC, even if he wasn't as decorated a rusher because rushing has been our MO. So straight-line, inflexible "merit" just can't work because there's a whole lot of bending going on by definition when you negotiate a contract. Again, I want to hear your explanation for how things are "agent-driven." Can you break that down?
I hear everything you are saying.
Sure, QBs deserve to be paid the most relative to other positions.
However, I DO think there is some artificial boosting of QB salaries if you take into account how good they are Relative to their Peers
The concept of next man up gets the highest contract, regardless, is just silly
hey, just my opinion
The owners seem to be catching on though.
Goff, Wentz, Tannehill, and Cousins and all signed new deals or extensions.....and none became the new highest paid QB.
So maybe there is logical hope.
That's how I break it down.
I don't see any buyers for what his contract demands are.
At the very best we'd probably get a second rounder.
one has nothing to do with the other....not sure why you are so confused about thatHope Dak and his agent, Todd France, take note of how many QBs are ranked higher than Dak. They then should consider some introspection regarding their approach to Dak's contract demands. But I doubt they will.
if an OL man is ranked in the top 10, assuming mahomes will be #1, then does it mean the OL man should get a 10 year 340 M contract?#46 wants to be paid like #2
so according to some here, given Dak is 46 and wentz 96, then does that mean his contract should be that much more than Wentz? then his demands aren't unrealistic. I mean its the ranking right?Wentz already made it on the list at number 96 lol
of coursewill zeke be on the list?
Well, Garopollo is 41, Tannehil is 68.......so according to some here, given Dak is 46 and wentz 96, then does that mean his contract should be that much more than Wentz? then his demands aren't unrealistic. I mean its the ranking right?

"Fully Guaranteed" Kurt Cousins was 58 with a losing record to Dak Prescott. I know Stephen and Jerry Dumbo GM Jones have made another idiotic move not to have Dak long term in Dallas. That means players and his peers consider Dak a top 10 QB, and he has the 3 out of 4 Pro Bowl years to prove it. Stephen A Smith continues to be a Cowboys prophet with Cowboys accident no.1 of not signing a franchise QB to a long term deal. Not because Smith is knowledgeable about football it is that Jerry and Stephen are so Football dumb.So it looks like they will have between 9-12 QBs rated higher...so top 10 to 14 range
?Mahomes
?Wilson
?Rodgers
?Brees
?Jackson
?Brady
?Watson
?Ryan
Not so sure about Stafford or Roethlisberger (injuries) or Wentz
41) Garopollo
