Dak after 2 weeks

This and I think he also took a long, hard look in the mirror and reevaluated his priorities. I'm not sure anyone else noticed but it doesn't appear he's trying to be Mr. GQ or million-dollar fashion model. Notice his first two post-game PC this year vs previous years. Now, to be clear, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with liking to dress or fashion ( hell I love it myself ). But there are times it can overshadow the real you.

Guess he shouldn't reach out to Travis Swift for fashion tips then, right? lol

4th overall. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Haters are desperate!

You have it sorted by passing yards. Try sorting it by the categories I pointed out.
Daniel Jones beat him in every one.

Here's another one. Dak is 24th in yards per attempt.
Daniel Jones beat him in that too.

Are we trending 2023, the ALL-Pro season...........shhhhhhh, not too loud (LOL)
He could end up breaking all the Cowboy QB records, but it won't be enough w/o a Super Bowl

BTW....did anyone else hear Jerry say he's trying to get Dak a Super Bowl

MVP! MVP! MVP!

Go Cowboys!!!

Dak has played well so far.

Something we aren’t talking about much. Is that despite our resources on OL. The pass protection hasn’t been great the last two weeks.

To be fair. The giants have an extremely talented defensive line and 2 games is a relatively small sample size.

That said look at this:

Yes it’s PFF so you have to take it with a grain of salt but the cowboys OL is grading very low.

Dak having a positive EPA considering the pass blocking so far is pretty damn good.

He's looking great so far! Better than he had been. The real test is how he does if they make the playoffs.

Dak has obviously played well...even his greatest detractors should be pleasantly surprised.
Mark, you have a kind soul.

There are some here who are so invested in Dak’s failure that any success genuinely bothers them.

And, of course, they have their Zone opposites.

There’s the old saying “if you spot it you got it” and for both types, when they see their opposite, who in many ways is their twin, they go on the attack.

Do you remember the Star Trek episode where the transporter splits Kirk into two opposite selves?

Well, @Rockport is Good Kirk. He only sees the good and player criticism wounds him.

@MountaineerCowboy is Evil Kirk. He sees only the bad and player praise enrages him.

When they see each other, there has to be a fight.

If only they would go on a date, share an ice cream sundae, and rejoin their shattered selves, it could mark a new age of peace and understanding here at The Zone.

The hate is warranted because he can’t perform in the playoffs. Why does his regular season numbers never translate in the playoffs?
Never? One of his best games was against Tampa in the playoffs.

Legit don’t care about his stats anymore. Dallas was lucky to even be in the game at the end, giants were up 13-3 until the end of the second half and it felt like it should have been 30-3.

He needed a 64 yard field goal at end of regulation just to TIE the game against Giants. With basically any other kicker in the league he played well enough to start 0-2 this season.

Not to mention it took THREE drives in overtime to get a field goal. Very few quarterbacks get three drives in OT to try and win the game.

Talk to me after at least 8 games.
Because last year he was below 20th.

The “haters” are right about him and he will never be good enough to vindicate his fan boys.

He will retire a loser QB.

Then we’ll have to listen to his fans for a few months debate if him or Marino is the best ringless QB ever before they go away because football isn’t fun for them without Dak.
And the same can be said for you football will be no fun for you without DAk.

When he retires if there is any justice in the world hopefully you will too and your negative attitude will be gone from the forum.

Generally you don't change the spots on a leopard but we have seen quarterbacks evolve.

Romo evolved but not before his back gave out

that said the window with Dak is short but he certainly has the tools for success two number one receivers a load of first round draft picks on his offensive line a reliable tight end and quite possibly a very effective running back group if someone can figure out who should be on the field and when.

We have two first round picks from Green Bay and our own two in the next two years with that amount of pics we should be able to get a top quarterback prospect that can be brought along and plugged in with our offensive line in their prime about the time Daks contract runs out.
In the meantime I guess we will have to listen to your negative crap and tolerate the fact that you bring absolutely nothing constructive to this forum.

2023 Dak was a top 5, MVP type QB.

2024 Dak was bottom 10 of the league.

So far, 2025 Dak resembles 2023 Dak despite the fact we are starting a LT project who is learning on the job and a RT who is among the worst at his position.

All that said, this team will have to be really lucky to manage more than a 10 win season. The schedule is brutal, the defense has too many holes and the offensive line just isn't good enough.

Two games in, Dak playing good clean football. As we know, Jerry's world is week to week....for years.

He looks in the best shape. I have seen him since his rookie season. He looks stronger faster, wish him nothing but the best. And he’s got his head on. He’s thinking. From a great tackle week one, to the poise and patience of week two. He’s throwing dimes.

Dak will never vindicate you.

Are we watching the same games? Dak hasnt looked like an elite, difference maker QB in either game. Looked no better than the Giants cheap 1 yr rental QB. Team struggled against a poorly coached poor team. Offense was very poor in first half. Bailed out by a 64yd FG.
