Twitter: Dak against playoff teams

That would be subject of a good analysis. To me that's a symptom.

Is it because they are behind and are forced to throw a lot to come back? Where usually teams that are ahead tend to want to run more to control the click and kill the clock.

But I would have to see how close were the scores, too far behind would be a cause. And was a lot of throws in the last half of 4th quarter.
I think that’s a big part of it. If you have the lead and control clock you aren’t passing. If you are losing most of the game chances are you are gonna lose the game.

I think that issue comes up because of Dak/Cowboys poor play in the playoffs. Meanwhile Brady has a stack of rings.

So if Brady did get into playoffs on a week division, he was able to ramp it up in the plaoffs. Dak has not. Yet.
No doubt. Brady is the Goat.
I always say no QB does it alone, it's what you are capable of doing gwhen you are given resources. Some QBs need less than others.

And I rather play in a weak division. Win easy games. Avoid injuries. Get higher seeding to play at home. Get into playoff and wi..and winning in playoffs is what you play for.

And yes, Dak hasn't been successful in playoffs. For that matter, cowboys have not been successful in playoffs. Now for 30 years.

I am not diminishing Brady for getting I to playoffs in a weak division. I think it's great

Too funny. Am I in your head? I can pay rent if you like. Hate to stay there rent free.

I asked some DDS cult member, do you dismiss Brady's playoff wins because he played in weak division? Because some DDS idiot said the playoff for dak somehow count less because he was in a weak division.

But reading comprehension is not everyone's strength. I get that

Perhaps, the problem is you keep repeating things, that have already been explained to you, like nobody ever explained it to you. People have already pointed out that Brady playing in a weak division is different, because he was able to prove himself in the playoffs against great quality opponents. It's not like Brady was 2-5 in the playoffs. You brought this line of reasoning up to several people, and then have selective amnesia, acting like you are bringing up a brilliant point, when you are not. But yeah, keep comparing Dak to Brady, it makes you look smart.

Why bother explaining, if he is going to forget and bring up that point again in another thread. Want to take dibs if that argument will be used again? ;)

Brady has played only 5 games in the playoffs (out of 48) when his defense has given up 30 or more points. His defense has only given up 30 or more points 10% of the times.

Dak's defense has given up 30 or more points nearly half the times. 3 out of 7 for a whopping 43% of the times. A much smaller sample size tho.

The middle ground to Dak and Brady is Aaron Rodgers, another QB who has had a lot of his playoff games be a McCarthy coached team. His defense has given up 30 or more points in the playoffs 7 out of 22 times.... 32%.

The original point was that in another division, we wouldn't even had as many playoff run, since Dak wins less as a whole against NFC West and NFC North teams than he does against NFC East teams which had two bottom feeders in it as in the Giants and Commodes. There about two people who will take offense to that point being brought up and love bringing up that Well Tom Brady played against a weak division, willfully neglecting to mention his playoff record and comparing it to Dak. I guess people don't like Parcel's mantra of "You are what your record says you are"

And yes, the defense has been bad during the playoffs, but the quarterback has made critical mistakes in playoff games as well. It's not like one of those games where people go away saying, wow that team sucked but the quarterback did his part. The problem here is on the field leadership, not having focus, and having no heart in the playoff that is true for the whole team. Then we have games like the Tampa Bay playoff games where some of the homers like to praise, saying foolish things like Dak retired Brady, when where I linked back to threads of that time in a previous thread, showing that most everyone on this board, including people labeled as haters, were predicting we would win that game, because we were the better team.
