First off, I will say that this has been an awesome pairing over this win stretch. Amari has become his "go to" guy. But that's good and bad.

Dak has failed to see Gallup running free and Beasley getting open and at times sort of forcing the issue to get the ball to Amari. I want to see Amari get a majority of the touches, but Dak needs to spread the ball around a little bit more and get the ball to Gallup, especially.

I don't want to see Dak to to the well one too many times, especially during the playoffs and have a DB jump a rout for a pick 6.

Overall, "Dak has failed to see Gallup running free..." is not accurate in my opinion. Prescott has both seen and thrown deep passes for Gallup. It is more accurate saying Prescott has not connected more often with Gallup running free deep. I do not know what is necessary for their chemistry to improve. Maybe more after practice sessions together? However, the passing offense will open up entirely if-and-when that chemistry materializes.

Dak in this last game threw to 9 different players. Zeke had 12 catches on 13 targets, Cooper 10 catches on 13 targets, Jarwin 7 catches on 7 targets and Gallup 4 catches on 9 targets. No doubt Dak and Gallup need to find a ways to get on the same page, I don't think it is all Dak or all Gallup I think they both need to figure things out and get in sync with each other.

Those near misses with Gallup will start being hits soon enough. Gallup is learning fast for a rookie and is really pretty talented. He and Dak are getting closer and closer to being on the same page. What is encouraging is how easily Gallup is able to get separation on NFL corners.

I actually believe that the coaches have brought Gallup along at about the right pace. The Cooper/Gallup combo is really starting to heat up at the end of the season (heading into postseason play), and will give Dallas a very good, very young combo for the foreseeable future.

I love that duo complementing Zeke’s power running game. Just add a TE and get the OL healthy... the Dallas offense will mirror that good defense very well.

Bold > It has been extremely impressive for me. I do not know how often I have yelled, "Gallup got his man beat!!!" The young man is a true deep threat and I think he has only scratched the bottom portion of his ultimate ceiling.

We'd probably have a loss or 2 if we could throw the ball better.

Now we will have to play an extra playoff game and go on the road if we win because we can't throw the ball very well.

Yep. He gets open A LOT. Plus, that guy catches just about everything in his vicinity.

I really liked the pick on draft day... and I like it even more now.

A very very nice player.

It is a process. But in this case it is truly a process. Gallup is learning and so is Dak.

Lately, I don’t notice Dak not seeing the field or making the wrong reads. Most of Dak’s issues are related to arm talent. For instance, on the second interception last Sunday, he made the right read. Gallup was open. Dak just sailed the ball.

He still sails that way more than he should.
Though he has been better with that since the first 3 weeks of the season, as he was at the end of last season.

But then again, I seen Mahomes last night over throw his WR's, but his was more like a fast ball, then a sail.

But Mahomes is constantly making big plays.

Dak is constantly just taking what the defense gives and sometimes misses what the defense gives.

Dak just needs to use his legs more. Teams should have to respect that more but Dak wants to play like he's Troy Aikman and playing like Troy Aikman is not playing to his strengths.

If they want to loosen up things in the redzone get Dak moving.

Do not remind me. A good friend and I had a mini-argument afterwards. I often say Prescott must take more chances passing the ball. He counters saying Prescott's strength is ball security.

That play happened and my friend says, "See? See what happens when he takes chances?" I counter with, "I have no problem with the attempt. Zero. It is football. Not needlepoint. It is the OVERTHROW of a wide open receiver I take issue with."

In my opinion, Prescott can become deadly in the red zone if he nails down his fade pass.

He has thrown it and Dallas has won 5 in a row, yes getting a #1 WR makes a difference but Dallas is 5-1 since Cooper got here and only loss was 1st week Cooper got here. Dallas entered the season minus a TE and WR whom none would be a #1 WR on any team in the NFL. Organization took a chance and were wrong, thankfully smart enough to correct it when the opportunity presented itself

Agree but Dak was missing Gallup before Amari even got here.

Gallup running free and being missed has been a theme all season.

Dak is not missing guys open over these last few weeks. If anything the game seems to have been simplified for him.

The only issues I have on offense right now is protection of the QB and said QBs ball security. We take care of those 2 issues and we can dine in hell with the devil and come out cool.
