One of the things that Dak has almost stopped doing entirely is running the ball on a busted play or boot leg options. I know none of us want a steady diet of that for him because we don't want to lose our QB for the year due to injury.

Earlier in his career he would occasionally run the ball when the field opens up. Now he seems committed to staying in the pocket. That added dimension gave defenses one more thing to worry about and kept them honest.

I would like to see Dak run the ball a couple of more times per game. It keeps the chains moving, drives alive, scores more points and gives his other offensive teammates an advantage.
