The sad truth is that the man who should be the starting quarterback for the Cowboys was sitting on the Browns bench.

Trash time yards and points. Took the lead early and didn’t score again until it was a blowout. I agree the defense is a mess but the inconsistency with the offense is alarming as well.
I like Dak, he is resilient and can score points but too many times they get stagnant and go long periods without doing anything until the opposing defense lets up a bit.

When did the defense let up exactly?

these were the same arguments being put out after Atlanta and Seattle.

At what point do NFL defensive players say, “**** it. This game is over. Time to kick it and have a beer?”

Same thing happened last year. Fall behind by multiple scores, come out throwing and the QBs numbers look better because of it. If the team looked any good, his numbers wouldn't be nearly what they are right now.

If you take Tank's $20 million, Jaylen's $10 million, Crawford's $10 million, add in Lee and Poe and you can get yourself a damn good defense while still paying your QB. Your QB is not the problem.

We had 14 quick points and 200 yards passing in the first quarter. I would disagree the "quick start" was the issue today.

The issue as I saw it was that as soon as we made a mistake -- or two, in those turnovers -- the entire team shut down for two quarters. The defense was atrocious as usual, but the offense was a willing partner in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Well, when you’re playing from behind you tend to throw the ball more than you run so I’m generally speaking. You’re really reaching for this one and assuming. Dak did well this game, but I’m just saying playing from behind is a good reason for a 500 yard game.

When your defense gives up nearly a half of a hundred points to Baker Mayfield, who couldn't even reach 200 yards passing, I don't know how to break it to you.

When your offense starts turning over the ball as ours did on consecutive possessions (especially when our D is not very good) you are going to lose football games, 3 offensive TO this game (should have been more we were lucky) 3 TO last game...what do you expect? most important stat in football is the TO stat if you lose that battle you usually lose the game
