After the terrible pick 6 Dak was pretty impressive today and a huge reason why we won. There were some questionable decisions late (running out of bounds and not throwing it out of the back of the endzone instead of giving up for a sack and several times just running directly into the pressure). But those things aside, he played great.

Dak is what he is, equal parts brilliance and mind numbing stupidity at times. That's why there is such a huge debate about him on these boards.

Dak's a top 10 QB. NFL players, coaches, scouts and execs all ranked him in their top 10s in polls this past offseason.

That means at times he'll look awesome, and at times he'll look mediocre. But overall he's a top 10 QB, and is therefore paid like one.

The "huge debates" are because the Anti-Dak Cult Members don't know football. It's really that simple.

Teams don't get better by willingly downgrading at the most important position on the field.

That defense gave him the ball four extra times, they are only responsible for 27 pt so dak needed to score 28pts which supposedly he dies all by himself every week. He’s in trouble and so is the team bc relying on four turnovers isn’t going to happen every game and dak doesn’t put up 30+ without extra possessions. Just hope they learn that the money will need to be invested in defense. We need to start letting Daks weapons go like all the other teams do when they pay premium for QB. Dak will need to elevate the talent he gets in the draft and then we can have reasonable n to blame a defense that is actually invested in.

They also got torched for 27 points and forced Dak to put up 40 points. Goes both ways. There could be no excuses today and Dak delivered. There are a million bounces, momentum swings etc in a 60 minute football game. Sometimes the QB has to LIFT the team and become a force multiplier.

Pick 6 and sack fumble, but we luck out because our boys got it. Dak literally almost costed us the game!

One play, 1st pass....and he led us from behind by 10 points TWICE to tie the game, then to go ahead, onto the victory.
I was frustrated on that also, but come on. This is all you anti Dak people can do. Harp on one freaking play.
