Best game hes played in years, maybe ever

He did good,,, I believe I actually see improvement from him, might even be due to MM , where he isn't stuttering or pausing or shutting down when faced with scary coverages. The coaches tell him to "stay aggressive" and "keep firing" which of course can be a problem if you don't understand what you're looking at but is still better than being paralyzed with doubt.

He should have slid, but the way he casually stepped OB, it almost seemed like he thought the clock would have hit the 2 minute mark before he stepped out. Bad judgement, but far from the worst thing a good QB has done.
I think that's what he thought the clock is hit 2 minute warning....and lets not forget that's how he injured his ankle, a seemingly simple slide.

I don't think I've ever seen a grounding penalty for yeeting a ball out of the endzone.
If I recall correctly, Aikman was penalized for it when in the opponent's red zone he threw over everyone through the endzone.

I wasn't all too upset with the running oob, like you said, he probably was hoping he took long enough off the clock to get below 2 minutes. I think it was the very next play that was the sack that lost us like 9 yards when all he needed to do was throw it out the back of the endzone that drove me crazy. Just no excuse for it. Thankfully everything worked out but that was just one of those plays you get from Dak that make you wonder what's going on upstairs.
yes and a no. throwing it away would stop the clock, but the sack forced them to take another timeout...so end result timewise would be the same, but yes, I get it, losing 9 yards is never good.

I love seeing you know I’m right, which is why you always try and respond to me to tell me how “stupid I am”. Just like when you talked about ‘adversity”.

Dak is a bone-headed QB that had, what a 5-1 TO advantage and the Eagles defense was almost as dumb as Dak on multiple plays, especially Slay Je on that 3rd and 30 when he just like Hilton run right by him with no safety help over top. Dak almost even blew the game once again, after the 3 and 30 by keeping the ball in bounds.
Only you see the game as negatively as you do.

You are certainly not a Cowboys fan, that is for sure.

Worst take on this game I have seen, congrats!

We are in year 8 of his Jock-stand trying to make this bone-headed QB who had another pick 6 that had a 5-1 TO advantage be good. He’s really not.

Minshew looked better than him, with the TOs.
Everyone....this is what complete delusion looks like.

Slay Jr gave this man five yards while Dak stared Hilton down…. this guy counted on a safety that was playing closer to the line than him and Slay had no other responsibilities underneath other than him.

The bookie must have called in

I guess more qbs need to "stare down" wrs bc he just had the most yards, points and rating vs this eagles team.

You have the absolute most jaded and worst takes on qbing i have seen

Dak played very good after the interception. The OL and receivers helped him do that . But the inconsistencies each game usually come to bite against playoff teams .

I would agree with OP.. I thought this was one of the best games Dak has ever played.

BUT for his fan boys.. I would temper it strongly with:
- Eagles D stop out to stop the run
- Maddox getting injured was huge
- That pick 6 was one of the worst INTs you will see
- The D gave our Offence FIVE (yep FIVE) turnovers.. 3 of which were in great field position
- The decision to 'go out of bounds' late in the game was one of the dumbest situational football plays in history
- The decision to take a sack directly after that was also stupid

I'm super happy we got the W.. and I'm very happy with the way Dak played.. our QB absolutely determines where this team goes and I want success so by definition we ALL want Dak to be successful.. but I still saw a game with 3 plays that should have cost us the W and that is 3 too many. Dak must eliminate those bad errors if we are to go deep into playoffs. Those errors are what determines a good 'regular' season QB and the ones that make it count.

The "MVP" had 170 total yards against us last time at home.

They doubled his output with Gardner
We also had a fully loaded secondary in our first game but who care those starters are better than our high school backups

Told you it's Not About Football

Dak Haters are a refuse and byproduct of 19th Century......they will NEVER understand a 21st Century Professional Lockerroom.
