Guyton looks lost out there too often. Throwing him out there to sink or swim might not be the best strategy. I'm not sure he's mentally prepared to handle that kind of challenge.

Bebee is starting to gel, but he's got all-pros on either side of him, unless Tyler S is at LT.

We just need to RELAX and give our Oline rookies time to gel to the speed and strength of the NFL. Our Oline will get better.

What say you?

Did he say how long it will take for him and CD to be on the same page? We're five weeks in, and they've been playing together for 4 seasons. It shouldn't take them this long

Did you watch the video in the OP?

Out of 25 plays Tyler Guyton played in before getting injured, he played very well and did his job on 18 out of those 25 plays. Out of the 7 plays in question, 4 of those plays were questionable about whether they were Guyton's fault. The other 3 were definitely on him.

Now can we get the same scrutiny on Dak's INTs? They were PUTRID.

The notion that Dak = Team is cancer. Both must put up WITH EACH OTHER. The rest of the team is STILL putting up with Dak's growing pains...the least he can do is return the favor.

But you do understand quarterbacks are gonna make mistakes right?

We knew all along we would have to live with Guyton's ups and downs this season. The thing is we as fans are so used to having a Hall of Fame left tackle in Tyron that we get impatient seeing Guyton whiff a couple times a game.

Agree, most of us knew that all along. It’s a long season, and if they keep getting better and better like they are wow

How about some scrutiny, on the winning touchdown and the fumble recovery?

Guyton is getting beat to the inside way too much. Getting beat isn't good, but at least if he gets beat wide Dak has room to move up in the pocket try to avoid the sack.

Either way, this feels like a classic example of him starting because where they drafted him instead of getting the best 5 players on the field.

I say that it’s UNREAL that it’s already about to be week SIX. Seems like it just started!!
IKR?!?!!? seems like yesterday I was counting the minutes for the season to start...now we are staring down the halfway point of the season. it's craxzy how fast this season is going...probably a testament to my age (the older you get the faster time moves).

But of those 25 plays how many were actually contested plays for Guyton? I'm torn on being optimistic vs pessimistic on his performance Sunday. 1V1 he seemed to get beat too often and of those 25 plays one 1 special teams, 1 was a penalty, they gave him some help on that side despite not going against Watt, and a hand full of snaps he didnt have to really do anything. Whats a shame to me is when he went down with the injury. It seems like he was really finding his groove right before he went down. I don't think the calls to bench him are valid, but we need to see him play better if this team is going to be a serious contender in a few months.

Play 1 - Pass play - He gets a chip from the TE and a bad read by the DE who played run first
Play 2 - Pass play - Good rep from Guyton
Play 3 - Run play - Good rep from Guyton
Play 4 - WR Screen - Guyton pulls but no one is there for him to block
Play 5 - pass play - beat bad by #51 on an inside swim move
Play 6 - FG Attempt
Play 7 - Penalty on Guyton
Play 8 - Quick pass in the flat - Good rep by Guyton
Play 9 - Pass play - Good rep by Guyton (51 tried that inside move again but Guyton got hands on him before he could hit the swim)
Play 10 - Pass play - Guyton beat inside (This was the Dak grounding penalty play)
Play 11 - Run play - Good rep from Guyton (Down block)
Play 12 - End Around - Guyton gets beat to the outside (Although it is a tough block with how far out #51 was, Lamb also should have redirected #51 in and barely touched him)
Play 13 - Pass play - Good rep from Guyton, he got a chip from the TE too
Play 14 - Pass play - Guyton beat with a simple outside rip move
Play 15 - WR screen - Guyton whiffs on a chop block, I will give him credit on a nice recovery to grab the ankle of the defender without drawing the flag
Play 16 - Run play - No impact on the play from Guyton, no one for him to block
Play 17 - Screen - Good rep from Guyton, gets #98 on the ground
Play 18 - Run play - Guyton pulls - Good rep from Guyton, but he does get pancaked by #50 (This may be something to watch when he pulls, he really doesnt seem too comfortable on the move yet)
Play 19 - Pass play - Decent rep by Guyton - He does give up the sack, but I think that one is mostly on Dak. This one is iffy, just depends how harsh someone wants to grade it
Play 20 - Run play - Good rep by Guyton
Play 21 - Pass play - Good rep by Guyton
Play 22 - Run play - Good rep by Guyton - If I'm being picky though he does need to work on those 2nd level blocks
Play 23 - Pass play - Good rep by Guyton
Play 24 - Run play - Good rep by Guyton
Play 25 -Pass play - Decent rep - gets beat on the 2nd move

I feel like I'm missing one in here as I dont think the penalty counts as a snap does it?

Reality is the growth for guyton and beebee will materialize next year with some good offseason training and a good training camp. The sad thing is steele hasn't bounced back to pre-injury form and martin is on a sharp decline.

Good stuff, TP! Thanks for sharing. I'm assuming you have the All-22? Yes, the penalty play does not count.

Keep in Mind Patrick Mahommes, Kurt cousins, and Jordon Love all have more INT's than Dak (3 others I didn't name) .... Aaron Rodgers, Derek Carr, Jarrod Goff, Jalen Hurts and Brock Purdy have as many (4 others I didn't name), Matt Stafford, Bryce Young have only 1 less (4 others I didn't name). That's 22 QBs with 3+ INTs compared to Dak's 4. seems to be very consistent with the league QBs' growing pains.
