It can actually help Dak understand the playbook better. As to the changes to it as well. Gives him a different perspective as well.
Not that he doesn’t know the playbook. But when you look at things from a different viewpoint. It helps.

Admittedly he’s calling a good game but he’s not a coach. He chose not to play and chose to coach on the sidelines?!?

If he’s not playing then this is a good use of his time and a learning experience. I’m not a dak fanboy but I’m also not going to bash him for nothing. For all we know, he was told he’s not playing.
