Opening poster is correct.
Prescott is not and never will be a pure pocket passer. Unfortunately, he will only get slower and less athletic as each week passes...i.e., he's regressing not improving.
I would trade him for whatever draft picks we could get. He might have a no trade clause but you give him the choice of holding the clipboard on the sidelines, never playing and embarrassing his ego or he can join another team as their starting QB. So we either get a few draft picks - say a 2nd and 3rd or nothing and draft a QB in 1st round next year. It's tough but sometimes the front office needs to admit to making a catastrophic error, taking the hit and moving on otherwise its rinse and repeat.
