It's obvious that this is going to be tough to sign each of them to big contracts. Is there any way that the Jones's could sit down with Dak, Coop and Zeke and discuss what's best for the team and winning Superbowls. Ask them all to be fair and take just 3 year contracts and structure them for the benefit of the team. Point out that's how the Patriots continue to be relevant year after year b/c they are not cap strapped.

It would be nice! But, no.

Its not the players job to sacrifice money for the team, its their job to get the most that they can. If they want to keep Amari and Zeke they are going to pay the damn price. That is what is “fair”

The Patriots? None of these players have reached a conference title game, much less win a Super Bowl. Not only wouldn't I expect them to "take one for the team", I don't think it's a wise idea in the first place. These players haven't won anything yet they're being put on a pedestal of greatness.

"OMG, what would we do without them?"
Gee I don't know, not reach the conference title game for the 24th year in a row?

The cap will be ok.

It’s not that bad.

I think there is some hesitation from command to give Dak elite QB $$$

This is a big season for Dak.

Cooper is taking a chance playing without a new deal. Any sort of leg injury and he’s losing out on gtd $$$.

Zeke is going to get paid elite RB $$$. He will set the bar for the next RB. The NFLPA is watching this.

How do you think that conversation would go? Hey Jerry Zeke and Coop played their 1st 4 years on a 1st round rookie deal and each made well over 20M i was playing on a 4th round deal and made 3M, i think i should get 35m per season cause of that and these 2 should take a little less cause they have already made so much!!. I understand your point and what your saying and hoping would get accomplished but it would just never happen

Like being called into the principles office.

Jerry - can't we all just get along for the sake of peace and harmony

Dak, for $32 million a year, I can
Amari, yeah, for $19 million a year I can agree
Zeke, I can go along with them for $16 million a year

Jerry, now kids, you know what I am talking about here...oh wait, I need to throw in 147 uhms, ok, where was I.
Dak, Amari, Zeke in unison, you were about to sign off on our deals.

Jerry, well, uhm, uh, uhm, well, ok let's do it.

Based on what we've seen, I think Stephen is keeping Jerrah from blowing his wad. We'll see how long that lasts.
