dear fellow fanzone freaks----Dak has improved this year in his mechanics...one of his more serious

flaws was that he would not transfer weight from back to front foot or not enough or not fast enough

in his follow through...this is why sometimes on longer throws Dak does not have the same zip on ball

this is why he throws behind receivers at times and this is a big reason he is off mark on his throws...Dak

defaults to keeping weight on back foot under duress....Dak has gotten better this year transfering his weight

to front foot so he knows that flaw and is aware of it...there are a couple easy excercises to correct this

problem...and i am a nobody...i am not a coach...or anything liike that but i have eyes and experience....

Also you only hear about this flaw occasionally by reporters when in fact it is the biggest contributing factor

flaw in his set-up and throwing motion. It really troubles me too....i throw things in the house and become

out of control...this is my default when under duress

I'm OK with Dak as our QB. He's far better than any other option for the foreseeable future.

But you can't devote $35 million a year to the guy. He needs a LOT of greatness around him. He can't go toe to toe with elite quarterbacks without superior offensive talent.

But they will.

In the last two games he is not stepping into his throws. Even when he has a clean pocket. He’s rattled.
pess---- it is engraved in his psyche ...i am a nobody but i have a very simple excercise that would correct this if somehow i could get it to him?

Is that exercise triple-platinum guaranteed to work?

Jake----it would work i can tell you that..very simple too...be in a room...stand perpendicular to wall with back prepared for throwing motion....have football in hand and step and throw....it forces throwing motion very similar to Marino
instead of bringing ball back you bring it straight up ear level...and the forward step and torgue of hips is where you get power.....it forces thrower to focus on getting power from lower extremities ..while also focusing thrower to bring

ball up and not back causing a whipping motion we see from Mahomes or Wentz and others

The only real problem I saw with Dak yesterday was a few questionable decisions. The end zone throw to Cobb where he tried to lob it up was actually more than just questionable, it was just a terrible decision. He also got away with at least one more that should have been intercepted. I'm still not sure what happened on the last INT. Obviously the PI that wasn't called disrupted timing, but that doesn't change the fact Gallup turned and moved to the inside and Dak threw to the outside. Hard to know which, but either Dak or Gallup screwed that up.
